What is the absolute strangest thing that you have ever seen that no one else could POSSIBLY beleive?

I've had too many weird experiences. But the strangest of them all, probably because it was also the most startling, was waking up and finding a reptilian being sitting on my bed right next to me.

I also know more than I want to about reality, time, who we are... etc. I went through the eye of the needle. It's a sordid tale.

I got lit up by St.Elmos fire standing bow watch on a ship I was on once.

Green sparks shot off of my upper body with a buzzing sound.

True story, happened off the coast of Indonesia.

I once saw a large bolide (flaming meteor) fly overhead, emitting an extremely bright blue light that lit the area up like it was midday. The weird thing is that you could hear it burning, like a wooshing sound -- almost like a special effect. It did not explode.

i saw a grey hughes 500 treetop flying hauling ass in my city.it didn't have any lights on or markings,it also didnt make a sound.all you felt was minor vibrations in your chest.this happened right before dusk.

I saw some weird stuff in the Israeli army.

One time in 1979, Butros Butros Ghali was in Haifa to negotiate the final terms of the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty. the Egyptian presidential yacht ( a large navy ship actually) was offshore of Haifa bay. We were under the impression that Anwar Sadat was aboard. I was with a detail of 2 other men and a corporal manning an old WWII concrete watch tower on the coast north of Acco.
It was daytime, so we were pretty relaxed, when we saw one of our Hercules aircraft heading out to sea. Three gleaming white cigar shaped objects were doing rolls and end to end loops around it. I watched through pedestal mounted binoculars and our corporal reported the incident. The area commander told him to get off the channel and just report terrorist attacks. Later we were told not to discuss what we had seen.
They declassified the technology in 1999, when passive detection systems made it obsolete, but it was some kind of stealth device that generated a radar absorbing field. The flying cigars were balls of light plasma created as a byproduct of this field.
So in 2000, I attended a lecture by an Israeli government spokesman on the subject of UFO's. He started off by talking about these man made UFO's, and related them to Earthquake lights and other natural phenomena, including orbs generated by meteors hitting the upper atmosphere. He went on state matter of factly that UFO sightings would increase as we entered a field of cosmic debris and a time of Earth Changes.

I saw a two headed chick and both heads looked like the singer from Twisted Sister with the red plastic hats Devo wore. And she tap danced while humming "God Save The Queen."

That was eleven years ago, that the guy made that statement. It seems to be coming true now, but there are stranger aspects to this stuff. Even if UFOs are a natural phenomenon, they seem to be associated with interdimensional beings etc. like the light plasma is a portal.

On a clear blue sky day driving in the northern lower peninsula of Michigan in 96 I saw a verticle line in the sky ahead. Straight up from the ground it went like a parting line on a casting. I turned off at a side road and drove about a 1/2 mile at a 90 degree angle to it to attempt to triangulate it. I estimate that it was ten miles away and went about ten miles into the sky. Faded out in a couple minutes. Girl friend saw it too.

Seen a few "orbs" and visually cloaked drones around the spray planes, but most everybody has seen those

I saw a guy on a motorcycle, doing about 35mph hit a deer, and not wipe out.

I've never seen a ghost, but I've felt their hands tugging at me. One place was on an old battlefield in the Golan heights, I would be going out on guard duty in the dark, and these hands would reach out of the ground and tug at my legs. This happened several times.
Later my ex-wife was working evening shift in the lab of a pulp mill in Kenora, Ontario. This lab had once been a locker room. A lumber truck had rolled down a hill once and crashed into this room killing several workers. I was picking up the ex at midnight and I was just hanging out with her in the lab as she finished up, when I felt somebody rudely start tugging at my sleeve. I started to violently shake him off when I realised that there was nobody there. The ex saw me doing this and just said,"Everybody sees the ghost eventually."

last spring I saw a cigar shaped UFO flying out of what seemed to be a star it was so surreal to me from then on i was a believe and started coming here now i am a believer.

Then when I went to Alaska for the first time a few years back I saw this glowing illuminating vertical rainbow - think it was a sundog?

I was standing in front of my kitchen window and this orange glowing orb seemed to come through the window and hovered over my head for a minute and then just dispersed and was gone. I screamed and my husband came into the kitchen. When I told him he started checking the overhead light and the switch. I could tell he thought it was my imagination.
It didn't have a funny smell like some posters said ball lightening has, plus it was a sunny day. Heat lightening, maybe?

hard to say, so many stories of electric orbs on this thread. ive seen flashes in other rooms, almost like a camera flash but never an orb like what you saw.

I once saw the gold at the end of the rainbow. True story.

I was 8 or 9, and on a fishing trip with my father. Getting bored, I followed a small rainbow up the creek. It stopped moving away and I came up to it. I reached my hand into it and saw my hand through the colors of the rainbow. Then I followed the curve of the rainbow with my eyes down to where it entered the water. There at the bottom of the rainbow was a huge golden trout! It just lay there, as if impaled by the rainbow, and I sat there for the longest time, awed by the whole experience, till the rainbow finally faded. Only when the rainbow was completely gone, did the fish wake up, give a shake, and head upstream very quickly.

I wonder now if the vibration of the color of gold can "anchor" a rainbow, and that is how the legends began?

By the way, I never told my father about the trout!

That's going to fuck up our tissue now. We'll have to genetically change before we can accomplish the same.

Awesome thread. This is why I come here and wade through all the crap. I wish I had a story to contribute but I've never seen anything truly weird.

The strangest thing I ever saw was someone on a motorcycle dressed in full Death regalia, scythe, robe, skull face and all, doing a wheelie full speed down the freeway. I just thought, tempt fate much?

I am getting insane deja vu from this thread, Did most of the people on pg 1 post these stories here before? The ball lightning & ouija board ones I could've sworn reading in a GLP thread around Oct last year...
