i agree, but would add, it's about conformity. if you don't conform to social standards, or if you are an 'outside the box' thinker, you are mentally imbalanced, according to mental health professionals.

this has a lot to do with why we haven't had more advancements in well... much of anything. that's part of TPTB master plan... to suppress.

Freud isn't what's wrong with psychiatry. Some of his theories may be wrong, but at least he wanted to talk to his patients and help them with what was upsetting them. What's wrong with psychiatry is the doctors who couldn't care less about helpful talk, and just stuff their patients full of drugs.

There may be a legitimate place for drugs in psychatry, but it's really being overdone nowadays. A mentally ill relative of mine was never once seen by anyone who asked her "What are you bothered about? How do you feel?" They just said her problem was a biochemical disorder of some kind and stuffed her full of drugs.

what if something Super Natural did happen and they try'd to explain it to a Phchiatrist.....

Hate to be unpopular here, but Organized Religion is a solution as well...........just plain Religion, too.

Jung is influential, but not everybody goes for his theories------he is considred by many to be one of the founders of the NEW AGE movement, which many religious people (including me) don't agree with. Sorry, the whole "I'm a God" or "Part of God" routine does not cut it for me.
