I can't imagine that the FED would have it's first ever news conference and not distribute out some kind of calming outline to wall street. The market appears to not care and although the dollar is not doing great I've seen it bounce back from much worse.

I don't mean this to be mean spirited but at some point the people making all these imminent doom statements have to take some (a lot) of responsibility for creating sheeple.

I am on board with TSHTF but I'm starting to doubt seriously that it will happen anytime soon. The sheeple are quite happy and content living life and not hanging on threads daily. It's looking good to me right now.

I think the big conference will be yet another let down for doomsters. Someone will find something in it to dissect and create another we are all gonna die thread but in reality I'll bet he's just going to raise interest and wants to explain in detail some crap or another.

Yes, they suck, the economy sucks and society leaves me speechless but I'm on board with trying to make a difference and creating a better world for my children and grands NOW instead of sitting around twiddling my thumbs trying to predict when the world will fall apart. It's starting to look like doomsters are to frightened or to lazy to do any real work. It's like watching someone get beat up, shot, rapped or robbed and doomsters are the ones watching and doing nothing. I can't be a part of that.
