Theres more crack in the treasury for wall st and the bankers! ![]() Gold Prices: 12/31/2000 - $273 12/31/2005 – $516 12/31/2010 - $1,421 12/31/2011 - $1,566 12/31/2012 - $1,676 12/31/2013 - lower than last year??? I find it ironic how posters keep telling us how gold and silver will be confiscated, a minuscule market mind you, at the very same time the bankers are changing laws to simply confiscate savings and market accounts directly. In fact, we've already had confiscations; MF Global and Cyprus. Sorry, you'll lose your savings first. |

| He Might Be Right? User ID: 229501 04/21/2011 09:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Remember the FED creates electronic money out of nothing (the ether) and uses that electronic money to buy Federal Treasury Bonds and Notes. That comes in very helpful when the Chinese or Japanese are not buying. The FED is in position to buy ALL of the United States Government Debt. Quoting: JoeNeubarthThe FED does not actually charge interest on the Trillions of Bonds and Notes it holds. The interest payments are made automatically by the Treasury. Do you know what the FED does with those Billions in Interest? Yep, you are right. TheFED gives the money back to the US TREASURY. Now, did the FED use its own money to buy the bonds and notes in the first place? (The answer, Scump, is NO, of course.) Remember the FED just made electronic money out of Ether. Do you know what the FED can do with those bonds and notes? That is right, Scump, they can burn them, tear them up or dissolve them with acid. They can make the debt disappear just by snapping their fingers. Isn't the FED wonderful? All the other countries of the world wish they had a FED. They don't, but we do. We will never go bankrupt, because we do not have any real debt. That's insane. In your scenario the cost of everything we import like oil would skyrocket making the dollar absolutely worthless. I don't know if you are a shill or just really believe this insane tripe but man you have got to get a clue. Our money is based on debt, it has or had some kind of value since the debt was supposed to be paid off with interest by productivity through taxes. Debt only has value when it is backed by labor, your insane belief is that our labor is worthless thanks to the central bank. You sir are a Moran. Moran? Well, I will wear that title with gladness if it will make you happy. The simple fact of the matter is that the American dollar is backed by the productivity of the American people. As long as we are manufacturing more than China and Japan together do. And as long as our natural resources are being mined and pumped as much as they are. And as long as our agricultural production is the greatest in the world, the United States Dollar will be a strong currency. Consider this, if the Chinese Yuan went up to twice its present value, American products in China would be half as expensive. American products would sell and Chinese products wouldn't. All these scare mongers do not understand that simple fact. They say the dollar will be worthless. If that really happened, we would have full employment and the rest of the world would be unemployed because everybody would be buying cheap American made cars. These scare mongers simply do not have the slightest idea what they are talking about. Ask Scrump if he understands what happens when the dollar goes down by fifty percent against the Euro and the Yuan. See if he understands. If he does, he will retract all of the crap he posted to start this thread. the days of productivity saving the day are over, you must live in a vacuum or maybe 1958, the outsourcing of jobs overseas has been constant since the late 70's....natural resources and mining have been in decline in a similar fashion, and the only reason we still have mining going on anywhere in North America is the result of new ownership and demand of course both of those are China...a worthless dollar equals full employment...that deserves nothing in response except a midnight awakening for your next medication.....and a 50 percent drop in the dollar would equal roving bands of looters and folks desperate to survive as they hunt down those responsible for creating this mess we are all in.... |

Anger, Anger has been expressed over and over by both people who are still in stage one, as well as people in stage 3. Bargaining, People on both sides of the isle are trying to bargain their way out of the inevitable truth. There is no money to borrow to fix this. It's going to take sweat blood and tears. 4. Depression, Often this stage and the next are rolled together. It's questions like Joe's that get asked when you realize bargaining is no longer useful and the depression of the truth sinks in. 5.
