Itīs built on a delta, one of the dumbest places you could ever build a city. port cities are one thing, but they built their city on silt. WHAT SMARYPANTSES. it might be rebuilt, but farthur back where the ground is strongerer. |

If its not to be rebuilt then why are they keeping all those people still in the Stadium? Are they meant to? |

Right, it just proves the Elite donīt want to correct the problem, just wait it out and in time death will take over. If you donīt get those folks out of the Stadium. Are the toilets flushing? What do you think? Are supplies coming in, have you seen them arriving yet on television? Just hearing now that the news people have to leave. Sounds to me like they want no filming, no proof whatever should or could happen. |

The report that Fox News is leaving is kind of disturbing to me because from the lack of real information coming from the other news agencies seems like Fox may have been the only ones there in the first place? |

Why not build refineries in place of housing and have workers commute from a safer place on high ground to live. |

It has nothing to do the the "elite" (whoever they are.)
Lots of people rebuild their houses in the same location after natural disaster.
If the govt. stepped in and passed a law that you couldnīt rebuild in New Orleans, plenty of people here would be screaming about a loss of rights. |

Actually, I live in an area that has been under martial law when the big tornado came through Oklahoma on May 3rd, 1999.
And we still had looters. It was just the weirdest thing you ever seen. With so much destruction it is hard to tell who is looting & who belongs there. Martial law wasnīt that bad. It gets real dark & real quiet at night time after a disaster hits. Without some kind of protection people would be dieing for all kinds of reason. Some by other people who had braved the storm & were at their wits end. Nerves get on edge after so much devestation & it all just seems to take so very long to get back to normal.
Here is a link to some of those pictures. Many of these are from right in my own back yard. ONE block away. We were extremely lucky it didnīt tear our house to smithereens as well.

My heart goes out to those people suffering through this! It is an unimaginable exercise in patience. My prayers are with them all! May their recovery be fast. |

So if its really over then why are the people just being stranded there in the Stadium and brought there then to be guarded by the Government? Good Lord I hope its not a concentration camp? Read APN news. They tell you the bathrooms are filthy, etc. |

Boats? How are people even going to get out of the Super Dome if the water is covering the doors? 10,000 people to be rescued and you suggest boats? Better get a fucking AIR CRAFT carrier. Another joke of a solution. |

standing water, which could be there for MONTHS, will destroy the structural integrity of the buildings, from small, ie houses, all the way to large ones. They may not be safe to inhabit and would have to be bulldozed down.
The standing water, along with contaminants (oil, gas, sewer, decaying corpses, both human and animal) will add further to the inability to reinhabit the city area that has been flooded. It appears to be an irreversible mess.
They donīt know where all the water is coming from according to FOX news. All the rain that fell flows south, through rivers, tributaries, etc. It ALL heads south toward the Gulf of Mexico, and NO, being a bowl, is a natural point for it to "seep" to. |

What if a big hole is made at the dome couldnīt helicopters made for landing on water come in to rescue those people or is that too expensive for Big Brother to do? I still donīt see why row boats have not even attempted to row to the Stadium to rescue people. Venice is all water and they have many canoe type. You mean to tell me we Americans are too stupid or is it being not allowed to rescue them? |

It will takes YEARS to rebuild downtown New Orleans. The clean up will take at least a year. |

Look, isnīt the national guard in the Dome? Those who arenīt being put on boats immediately go to higher sections while those who are get on the boats. there has to be utter chaos in the dome with people wanting to put their own survival skills ahead of these FEMA rejects.
If they wait for the water to ebb, the entire dome...bowl may fill. |

Personally, I would drive that massive NAVY Hovercraft and start evacīing people to Galveston.
It will take weeks.
until then airdrop of food/H20 to the people trapped and medvac the sick. |

Their isnt a viable solution at this point in time. The solution is for the people to sit tight in the Super Dome until rescue plans can be made. |
