I had a friend who used to say anyhooo ALL the time and she would blink, purposely, every other second. Drove me NUTS.

One day I started saying ANYHOOOOO and blinking like 45 times afterward. I did it everytime she did it.

Seriously, there's even worse things! How about this: you're talking to your gf/bf on the phone while some people (like say your boss) are standing next to you, and he/she gets al mwa-mwa, kiss-kiss, I love you. And you have to be all serious: Yeah, likewise & all because you KNOWE that they'll think you're immature and foolish.

Odds are that she has seen this in a movie or something and immediately thought that the girl was so incredible the way she acted and talked. She therefore emulates the actress's persona.

I've seen this a few times in my many MANY years of life.

What you do is, and this MUST be done, is to say "hey your starting to sound like 'pick a name' in this movie I watched. I mean, the way you talk. I never did like that movie"

Her reaction does not matter, this will signal to her that maybe it's time to give up the act. She must be young, or insecure to behave in such a way. If her mother is approachable, talk to her first. Moms are usually pretty cool about stuff like this. Most likely she will say "yeah, it's driving me nuts, I don't know why she started"

Mom will then say something to daughter.

I doubt she saw it in a movie, and she is not young by any means, really should know better. Maybe time to trade this one in for a model that can speak english properly, reminds me of baby talk in a way.
