Month after in chernobyl died only those who were invloived in clean up, about 20-30 of them.
If japaneese would do anything to stop this shit by working on a site, we would see their fatalities by now as well.

I live near that reactor 150 miles from Atlanta that got shut down the other day. Damn, now I'm freaking out a little.

Interesting...the last four days now I have had a killer headache and I don't ever get headaches. My eyes hurt real bad and my body hurts. No cough or cold like symptoms. I do have allergies but those usually only bother my sinus's.

My eyes and head though feel awful.

I was thinking that maybe it was radiation as I was caught in the rain a few times in the last few weeks but then I also thought that maybe I have been reading to much glp.

Well, by the same token its not GE that should be being ripped, thats sorta like ripping Toyota beside their cars burn gasoline. Instead you should be ripping CAMECO, that wonderful Uranium mining company that operates out of Canada and even has uranium mines in the U.S.A. Canada is the number one miner and seller of Uranium in the world. Without uranium, (and thorium) there would be no nuclear rectors to be built.

Nope, got caught in some rain 2 days ago. Severe body aches, including in the armpits which of course house lymph nodes. Being as I used to live in Vancouver where it rains all the time and it never gave me aches well deduce your own theory.

I assumed the same. We've been getting heavy rain here in eastern WV for weeks. I was certain that there must be some measurable level of radiation at ground level. I was particularly concerned about my garden area.

So I bought a radiation detection kit and it comes with a survey meter capable of measuring levels of radiation in roentgens/hour from .01 to 500 r/h.

RESULT: I found absolutely no radiation emanating from the ground around here. None.

Now I'm not saying it won't eventually show up, but after weeks of rain, still nothing indicated.

So, I don't know. As I said, I totally expected to find something. But didn't.

I will continue to do periodic surveys after raining and will certainly post it if I ever get any indication at all.

It is mind-boggling stuff, to say the least!
