Who has experienced an electrical-like-shock just prior to falling asleep jolting through your brain awakening you in a state of fright?

Yep, I have felt most of these symptoms myself also. In addition to shortness of breaht and racing heart, I have had feelings of pressure in my head, like it would explode. Some channeling I read said, that these could be ascension symptoms.

Scary, hey? What did you do to make it go away? Or do you still have it?

Did you feel prior to all of this say like a year or that in the middle of the night hands would come over your body and hold down your legs and arms with a paralysis over your mouth and eyes?

Yeah, I read that too, but don't buy it. The frightening thought of some monstrous image that simultaneously occurs during the awakening of that electrical shock is the give away that this is something other than irregular sleep patterns. The smoke, the snakes, the shitty dirty places and dead like people in a disruptive restless sleep is more then just jet lag.

Exactly what I get from time to time, I don't know about the ascension part though, I am undeserving of it.

Yeah, I used to occasionally experience something similar. I'd try to fight it and would always win in the end, for no matter how much force it would exert, I could exert more. It was a big effort though.

Then one time, I had the realisation that the force that was paralysising me was actually being caused by me, so instead of resisting, I relaxed, and absorbed it. I was instantly empowered and went floating up and away on a cosmic trip.

It has never happened since.

I have them fully awake sometimes. It feels like someone reset the Matrix.

No links, just personal experiences that began when I was 7 yrs old - did not grow up in a house that knew God but did have occult leanings...I've had extensive (from 7yrs old to early 20's) interaction with that world and these (fallen angles/demons) are playing for keeps! I stood before what was either a fallen angel or a demon...i don't know for sure which, but this thing thrashed me until I called for Jesus to help me, and He did! Don't get me wrong...I understand that the Westernization of Christianity is a tragedy, but it wont serve as a defense or excuse when we stand before Jesus...and we all will bow before Him and acknowledge with our own lips that He is Lord...some of us will bow because of Grace and some of us will bow because our kneecaps will be broken...but we all will bow and confess that He is Lord! I don't speak with a judgmental heart or criticizing tone...but I've been there and I've seen and interacted with these things...they are nothing and not only cannot stand but actually flee at the mention of The Name of Jesus!

There was ONE time in my life, as a youngster, that I experienced an electrical "buzzing" in my brain.

It freaked me out, but it has never been repeated.

it occurs when you are just drifting of to sleep and your astral body is leaving your physical shell

if you are awakened before you are completely out then you sort of "fall back" into your body with a START, almost like you fell off a cliff and landed with a crash.

the sleep paralysis is different but I've had them both

OP, have you ever been tested for sleep apnea? The symptoms you describe are common with the condition and are due to oxygen deprivation.

I used to get this when i was taking anti-depressants. stopped taking em and now tis gone.

"ascension" ?

let me tell you something. there is spiritual ascension and physical ascension.

physical ascension happens automatically when you die, whether you are prepared for it or not.

spiritual ascension is gradual and takes a lot of striving, suffering. it only happens at the end of your cycle of existence, which can span more than one physical life. (note: reincarnation is a misconception).


so if you were really ascending physically, the definitive signs would be those that have something to do with overcoming death itself, like being able to live without eating, sex and little or no sleep. these 3 human necessities are deeply related with the aging process and death of the body. a person who freely indulges on these 3 activities is certainly not ascending. a person who has some measure of control over these necessities may in this case raise the vibration of their body which in turn will translate into increased sensorial awareness, mental clarity, increased brain capacity, increased physical capabilities (strength, endurance, etc).

getting sick or having troubled sleep is a sign that you are evolving through personal conflicts, but not necessarily ascending. this si not the best way to evolve. the bestway is a gradual and controlled process. if you are experiecing trouble in your life, it's a sign of imbalance. but in most cases a bumpy-road evolution is better than no road at all.


on the spiritual side, the signs of ascension are simply all the gradual benefits that come with an expanded consciousness: peace of mind, certainty, understanding, empathy, wisdom and most importantly a remembering of the true self.

Those sleep tests are also often used as surreptitious psychic driving sessions.
