Here is the story about the experience I had along with 3 other co-workers,sorry I took so long to respond Mr.Hill,but here are some details..
It was a hot august night,not sure of the exact date,but it was the first week of august,1999..I used to work,which I have been retired for 3 years now,at the wastewater treatment plant in this city,which is located right on waters edge of Lake Erie..On this night,the area just got hit with some pretty nasty thunderstorms..
I was outside around 10:00 pm,after the storms subsided,and the skies cleared, I noticed some strange lights moving very slow right on the shore line,They first past over the National Grid power station,which is about a mile from where I was..
The object then moved over the water,no more then a couple of hundred feet in the sky,moving slowly to where I was..Then they stopped..Hovering..No noise..No flashing.A large object,hovering,approximately 50 ft up, right on the shoreline..About 50 yards from shore..
Pale blue lights outlining its shape..What struck me was,this object had no discernible shape,the best I can describe is that it looked like a shoddily put together erector set,outlined with pale blue lights..I moved closer to it, maybe 50 yards away from it..As i did, it moved closer to me..Thats when i ran like hell..I called the other 3 guys working with me on the intercom, and they came out and we all watched it..For 10 minutes..I mean we were close..
Then the object moved slowly upward and turned into a triangle,hovering,directly above us,no more blue lights,no noise,silent..For several minutes..
Only 3 lights one on each corner,red,yellow and blue..It then proceeded to move over to a field nearby..Maybe a half mile..The object hovered there for a half hour..As we 4 watched,the object appeared to have landed,a white beacon started rotating from the top of the object,not fast but slow,illuminating the surrounding area of the object..This went on for about 5 minutes..
Then the beacon stopped,the object slowly rose up,no more lights,no more object,it was gone..We called the sheriffs office and local police station..They said they were getting a lot of calls about it..
My shift ended at midnight,me and another of my co-workers,got into my car and went looking for it,traveling Rt.5 maybe 10 miles or so,towards Buffalo,hoping to catch another glimpse of it,but nothing..
Nothing was ever reported in the news media about this event,which I thought odd,as quite a few people witnessed this..But myself and 3 others were right there,witnessing something that we never seen before,and have never seen since..
I swear on a stack of bibles and my parents graves,that what I wrote is the absolute truth..Since I was child I was always fascinated with ufos,extraterrestrials and such.and I do know,that ufos are attracted to power souces and are known to trail thunderstorms with lighting..What I observed,and I have no doubt about it,was a encounter with such an object,a ufo..

I think the problem is that people are pre-brainwashed into thinking that UFO's will be made from metal & bolts then in reality what is showing up worldwide is these organic looking balls of multi-colored Plasma/Light. So people say hey. that is not what the TV told me they would look like. Go Figure!
