To OP: Personally I believe your story. I'm convinced I'm a hybrid myself, and I am even willing to forgive the pretty crude treatment of the human race in the past. I guess you'll say this Ascension story is false, and has just been spread to pacify the unlucky ones who get "left behind". But even if that's the case, why not just DIE, rather than come with you on the moon?

The Spirit doesn't die, so DEATH has no sting anyway. The Spirit will simply move on to other adventures. As I see it, the primary reason to come with you would be fear of death. Such fear is meant to be overcome IMHO.

I agree that the option of leaving our mortal coil to rejoin the unboundedness of life in the metaphysical, which we have all encountered hundreds of times, would be my first option. Life is eternal. We can and do exists on many levels. We go in and out of form continually. Why hold to a form that becomes a prison of our spirit?
