Why would a farmer disclose to the cattle that the only purpose of their existence is to end up in a meat grinder?

Why would owner of the farm disclose to farmer that the only purpose of his existence is to take care of the cattle for the owner?

Why would aliens disclose that the only purpose of governments is to take care of human cattle, and why would governments disclose to human cattle that the only purpose of governments is to serve aliens (even if governments were aware of that fact, which most of them aren't)?

It's Jacob's ladder and it goes straight up to the top, way beyond this world and every other world this one is a part of.
