IF WINDOWS has a secret application running in background logging everything would hackers find out or are all hackers on Linux and OSX now?

They already do it's called antivirus software.

Learn how to monitor your network's output; technically speaking, any data being sent should be visible. I have no clue how you'd do it on Windows, but I am sure someone has done it.

The most intrusive and anti-privacy company is Apple, not MS.

And even Linux logs what the user does and has a connection to their servers.

If you care about your own privacy, never use your own identity through your computer, never use your own internet connection.

I don't know if windows truly has the secret back-door into our computers, just the thought alone makes my hair stand up. Recently I had a mayor virus attack and it made my OS use-less. I was totally relying on Windows. Now I have windows re-installed and the hard-drive is partitioned. For connecting to the internet I only use Fedora from Linux. I am not saying it is not hackable but the majority of the hacker freaks are basing their skills on windows, one of my kids has been using it for years and never had an attack in spite of the fact that he is not having an anti-virus program installed on his computer.
Slowly I am transferring all my files and functions to Fedora and once complete bye, bye windows.

linux rocks ... i used to run it but have just been to lazy to mess with the puter. i figure internet2 is gettin ready to be initiated and then it really wont matter what ya run because you are going to log on with your thumb print in order to get online..

All Linux based OS has exactly the same hidden connections to their servers. Without them, internet would not work. Period.

So those 'hackers' (mostly child mentality dorks who watch too mcuh Star Trek) are just being fanboys, praising their toys and enjoying the lullaby.

Again, you want privacy, never use your computer for your own identity related things and never use your own internet connection (use wifis for free in the air, grid antennas can grab them as far as 10 miles away).

If you do not do these two things, they know you. Though 'they' do not care about all your trash until someone reports you or you stick out like a sore thumb against the system.

But if you don't have anything to hide and are not doing anything "bad" - they aren't going to look. Yes, it was reported many years back that MS allowed the NSA to have a back door to the OS - don't recall if it was 95, 98, 2000, or XP. Look it up - it was on many major online MSM regarding them in bed and anal fucking - not sure who was driving to be honest.

Just avoid Windows Genuine Advantage, stop the Remote Registry service and Media Player Network service. Install a third party firewall. Comodo is a good free one. You'll be fine.

Actually, he is about a quarter right. 90% of all linux distros do in fact connect to a central server. Its how they distribute, and keep up-to-date, linux based software. As far as personal information goes, little to none. IP address is about all that is recorded. And grid antennas can indeed grab wifi signals from as far as 10 miles away.

If you didn't design, build and implement the OS yourself then you are just fooling yourselves. No mainstream OS is secure, while Windows is a big target, Unix/Linux, MacOS, Google Chrome are all vulnerable.

Most hackers want to create the biggest disruption they can, Windows has the biggest deployment so it would create that effect. If you attack Linux or Mac you are only touching a small percentage of computers....

I know a guy who hacks and is really good, he showed me how easy it is to hack those other OS's but went on to say what's the point.

If you have a loader for win7 (cracked win7) you need to avoid malicious software removal tool in you updates. WGA was vista xp days.
