Heheh,i catch your drift. Not a surprise either, the natives didn't need all these fancy words. They had Love, different meanings with more profound messages.

more of a 'why state the obvious' philosophy....

saying 'little children' to a Sioux would garner a 'no shit' type response....

Are you referring to my "philosophy" being expressed as "why state the obvious"?

Or am i misinterpreting your logic once again?

Oh please do have mercy on me ohyeah

Never mind,the poison was overwhelming,but not anymore.hf

On the contrary, not all children are little. When i was conceived,man...it's a miracle my mother didn't break her legs when standing up.Okay it wasn't that bad,but i was really heavy.

And i believe the Sioux were understanding enough to not respond in a "no shit" type of way. They would have either corrected the other persons point of view,or said something that the other person would have never understood.

Not that i'd know a Sioux personally,i'm just trying to follow the natural path of logic.

the term 'philosophy' was refering to the Sioux people....

the Sioux had the: 'why state the obvious' philosophy in their language....

and yes, not all children are little....

but in the context of the op: "Grown men may learn from very little children" there is no need for the terms 'little' and 'grown' whatsoever....

Aye,i agree, those words have more of a cosmetic value than a important part in delivering the message.

One of the aspects of the snake language. It is very deceiving.

I guess it all comes down to the point of view.

To you it appears that their language had this type of "why state the obvious" philosophy to it.

To me it just means that they didn't meddle with philosophies or misunderstandings. They spoke like they wanted to speak, literally, clearly and without any confusion.

I wouldn't say that their language had the "why state the obvious" philosophy to it,but rather that their language was more pure than the language of snakes, therefore without proper understanding of the pureness of their language, one might believe their language was implying that everyone else is retarded.

Like i said,it all depends on the point of view.

Either their language didn't like obvious statements,or the snake language harbors subconscious beliefs derived from the poison in their heads about the Siouxi-s language having some sort of hidden meaning in it.

For example,i don't think that when a Hopi and a Siouxi would meet, that they would deem each other's languages to be superior or better than anyone's elses. They would just agree on the fact, that others still have a lot to learn. It is most important to not judge people, because of their stupidity. It doesn't make you any smarter,it only deceives your mind into believing you are,but a truely wise person wouldn't have to deceive his own mind,he would be in total control of his emotions and thoughts.Having to fight with or deceive your own mind implies that you do not get along with it.

You say tomato i say potato.

"why state the obvious" versus "isn't it obvious?"

I hope i wasn't too hard to understand on the subject.

And i respect your point of view completely.
