So what $50 dollars would buy in 1980, it would take $130 today.

I have a question ? If (these are estimates) the Dollar owes .42 to our debt and the Dollar is only worth .73 does that mean .31 is our actual purchasing amount on the Dollar? Next question is how do we still have credit to purchase above our debt. Oh ya QE3 !!!!
