[204.74.214.194]: why is this IP address making calls to GLP from my computer?

I'm a computer programmer by trade these days... Every so often, I check my router logs to see who's coming and going...and I see outgoing messages made to internet protocol address: [204.74.214.194]

This is a GLP site...what's up with the calls you're making from my local machine without my permission? Adobe or your Voice Chat install has hooks into my machine now?

I'm sure there's a logical good explanation...so please enlighten me.
