It all depends on the type of music played...

What does it matter. We took drugs because we breath air, and because we walk along in lines and turn when we need to or want to. You have to lose your mind during your presence on this insane planet, because then you can reclaim it and become an individual, or better yet, an alternative person.

Yes, yes, and yes. As a former raver I had a few very bizarre experiences while at raves that were SHARED by my companions. At one rave I looked around and slowly noticed that everyone had vampire teeth.

Not the plastic fakes ones either. my friend also reported this independantly of me later that night!

Raves are a lot like the early acid tests at universities when LSD was first being tested on the populace. They used to use CIA created bands like the Grateful Dead to pass it out to students in California, then watch the effects.

Courtney Love's dad was one of those recruited to hand out the LSD to students back in the day.

At one rave I went to in 1996, there was a man in a suit and tie watching the kids dance and trip out in a small basement room. He just stood there watching us. It was very weird. He looked like a government type.

if you knew anything you would know that something good (raves) can always be corrupted and used for evil.

also, you did not hear the music played at this event. from what was described to me it sounded like multiple voices and sounds, screaming and groaning with violent sexual over tones layered over typical rave beats.

third, the drugs at the event were unlikely real lsd or X, but rather one or several of the many experimental drugs now available on the internet. i don't think you even know what a real rave is like anyways.

yes! it was reported that there were several out-of-place individuals just walking around and watching the kids hang out in the area behind the venue where they could chill and smoke cigs.

also, there were quite a few older people hanging out in costumes. they seemed to be poking around everywhere and checking out everything. There was a bright light in the back yard area that would come on every once in a while for a few minutes at a time. when the light came on, these people in costumes would walk around alertly, looking in the corners and crannies. then, once the light went out, they would chill out and return to talking.

many situations also appeared "set up" to incriminate people while dealing drugs as well

Interesting thread. Brought up a lot of memories. Raves are def suspect for a lot of reasons. Branches out into other areas of music as well

i myself am into music and have been to many clubs and shows, and this whole rave scene is really taking off. i would blame dubstep mostly for popularizing the sound, although its not an evil genre on its own

Great thread, but did it ever occur to you that your friend might have been "possessed" too? You may have to be a part of the hive in order to experience such perceptions.

Either way, tell him to be careful. I used to mess with psychedelics and I opened myself up to some CRAZY things.

maybe.. went to rave under an abandoned church once or twice. a lot of weird things going on..

In mr area they have raves sponsored by mk ultra. I didn't know what it was at he time but yeah weird lolz.

that's funny, because his story is quite detailed, and he mentioned a part when he realized what was going on. upon this, he literally 'snapped out of it' and could see every deceptive thing happening. even the drugs influence lessened.

when this happened he said the vibe of the rave started to center on him at times and tried to get him back into it, and people even crowded around the door when he tried to leave.

how do you know? how would programming happen at these events?

to my friend, it sounded like subliminal messages were inserted into the music with various sonically enhanced/distorted voices.

he described it as breakcore music, but with sex groans, violence, and voices instead of drum breaks. i hope that helps
