This certificate was doctored. Once you paste the top layer into a Word or txt editor you will understand and humbly eat your words.

You can confirm this yourself by scanning an image (of one of your own documents), converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.

I think you're mistaken. Both parents don't have to be US citizens at the time of the birth. But, if only one parent is a citizen, then that parent must be at least 18 years old and meet stricter residency requirements, (e.g. live in the US at least five years prior to the birth, etc), which Obama's mother may not have satisfied, according to the following:

The fact is, the qualifications listed in the example quoted above are moot because they refer to someone who was born outside the United States. Since Barack Obama was born in Hawaii, they do not apply to him.

The Fourteenth Amendment states that "all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States." Since Hawaii is part of the United States, even if Barack Obama's parents were both non-U.S. citizens who hadn't even set foot in the country until just before he was born, he'd still qualify as a natural-born citizen.

Untrue. The original intent of the 'subject to the jurisdiction' clause was to prevent foreign diplomats children from running for president. In other words, children born in the USA who were born to non-citizens.

If there was tampering as evident in the layers, then there would be something UNDERNEATH those layers other than just white space. 1401(g) applies to Obama situation:

(g) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years: Provided, That any periods of honorable service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or periods of employment with the United States Government or with an international organization as that term is defined in section 288 of title 22 by such citizen parent, or any periods during which such citizen parent is physically present abroad as the dependent unmarried son or daughter and a member of the household of a person
(A) honorably serving with the Armed Forces of the United States, or
(B) employed by the United States Government or an international organization as defined in section 288 of title 22, may be included in order to satisfy the physical-presence requirement of this paragraph. This proviso shall be applicable to persons born on or after December 24, 1952, to the same extent as if it had become effective in its present form on that date;

Therfore, even if born in Kenya, his mother was US citizen who resided in us for at least 5 years. His father's status as alien has no bearing.

Barak is a citizen of the united states even if born in Kenya. Now, whether that meets the intent of being a Natural Born Citizen to serve as a presidential requirement, which is not defined by Constitution, I dont know.
