These are not German shepherds they are Alsatians.
Anything other than the standard breed of German Shepherds as defined by the Germans themselves is not a German Shepherd they are Alsatians they are not thorough bred but different inbreeds.

I'm not understanding what this means, why would you think that dogs that are registered as German Shepherds not trace back to Germany but instead are mixed? Because its a standard that started in Germany, it exists outside Germany. But most 80% think this is not so because they are dumb. There is only 1 kind of German Shepherd only ONE kind. I once had what I thought was a Long Haired German Shepherd. Until I was schooled by a German man on the fact that he was not a German Shepherd but an Alsatian and there is no such thing as a long haired German shepherd.
