You sir are the stupid one. As a GLPr you ought to know you can't trust scientists. Elephants didn't evolve from anything other than other Elephants. There is no observable incidences of evoluction currently at work. Nothing is evolving and nothing has or will evolve. Things devolve. No physical object living or dead improves with time. Things only get worse.

The elephant evolved from yo momma!

Look dummy. While evolution may not explain everything, It is a provable natural phenomenon documented in countless examples. Can't we all just learn to get along. Maybe god created all life but ALSO gave life the ability to adapt and change over large periods of time to better fit in it's natural habitat. THINK ABOUT IT. Just because the most primitive single celled whatever needs intelligent design to exist doesn't mean that all evolution is instantly debunked. This isn't black and white, it's infinite shades of gray. Get it?

But didn't saint Darwin promise mankind would 'evolve' into divine likeness, like mankind is doing;
"But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.' 2Ti3:1

Anyone who has read "origin of species" will know that it is only vaguely scientific, with a few speculative arguments about bird's beaks culminating in and unsupported theory which is a quantum leap in scientific terms.

birds with short beaks evolve into birds with long beaks, therefore tapirs evolve into elephants.

Thats nice, it means that we can bonk the fresh(wo)men and not feel guilty, we'll have that!

Darwin has some believing starving finches rewrote their dna to develop different beaks to feed on different food when shortages occurred. Personally I doubt that finches are such accomplished molecular biologists, or that the little bird brains even know their cells are constructed by genetic codes to begin with. I'm thinking the real scientist is God who gave them different beaks so they eat different things and coexist in peace, like the rest of bird species. That must really sound stupid to the evos.

No, I don't get it. Adaptation is intelligently designed, especially for seasonal changes, my cats shed fur in the spring and put more on in the fall but, they keep being cats, and making nothing but more cats. Octopus change color when escaping by divine design, they don't know how to do that. The theory of evolution doesn't need debunking, design without intelligence needs to be proven. Jehovah's genetic blueprints, written into all life, plant and animal is black and white, in four 'letters', there's no maybe this or that in his equations, other wise by now your own cells would by now form biological mush. Re: Oh Mr Darwin, can your hamburger head disciples explain what the elephant evolved from? Was it a Hippopotaphunt?
Maybe Mr. Darwin can explain any of the questions below. Questions which no evolutionist can answer with proof.

1. Where did the space for the universe come from?

2. Where did matter come from?

3. Where did the laws of the universe come from (gravity, inertia, etc.)?

4. How did matter get so perfectly organized?

5. Where did the energy come from to do all the organizing?

6. When, where, why, and how did life come from dead matter?

7. When, where, why, and how did life learn to reproduce itself?

8. With what did the first cell capable of sexual reproduction reproduce?

9. Why would any plant or animal want to reproduce more of its kind since this would only make more mouths to feed and decrease the chances of survival? (Does the individual have a drive to survive, or the species? How do you explain this?)

10. How can mutations (recombining of the genetic code) create any new, improved varieties? (Recombining English letters will never produce Chinese books.)

11. Is it possible that similarities in design between different animals prove a common Creator instead of a common ancestor?

12. Natural selection only works with the genetic information available and tends only to keep a species stable. How would you explain the increasing complexity in the genetic code that must have occurred if evolution were true?

13. When, where, why, and how did
a. Single-celled plants become multi-celled? (Where are the two and three-celled intermediates?)
b. Single-celled animals evolve?
c. Fish change to amphibians?
d. Amphibians change to reptiles?
e. Reptiles change to birds? (The lungs, bones, eyes, reproductive organs, heart, method of locomotion, body covering, etc., are all very different!)
f. How did the intermediate forms live?

14. When, where, why, how, and from what did:
a. Whales evolve?
b. Sea horses evolve?
c. Bats evolve?
d. Eyes evolve?
e. Ears evolve?
f. Hair, skin, feathers, scales, nails, claws, etc., evolve?

15. Which evolved first (how, and how long, did it work without the others)?
a. The digestive system, the food to be digested, the appetite, the ability to find and eat the food, the digestive juices, or the body’s resistance to its own digestive juice (stomach, intestines, etc.)?
b. The drive to reproduce or the ability to reproduce?
c. The lungs, the mucus lining to protect them, the throat, or the perfect mixture of gases to be breathed into the lungs?
d. DNA or RNA to carry the DNA message to cell parts?
e. The termite or the flagella in its intestines that actually digest the cellulose?
f. The plants or the insects that live on and pollinate the plants?
g. The bones, ligaments, tendons, blood supply, or muscles to move the bones?
h. The nervous system, repair system, or hormone system?
i. The immune system or the need for it?

16. There are many thousands of examples of symbiosis that defy an evolutionary explanation. Why must we teach students that evolution is the only explanation for these relationships?

17. How would evolution explain mimicry? Did the plants and animals develop mimicry by chance, by their intelligent choice, or by design?

18. When, where, why, and how did man evolve feelings? Love, mercy, guilt, etc. would never evolve in the theory of evolution.

19. How did photosynthesis evolve?

20. How did thought evolve?

21. How did flowering plants evolve, and from what?

22. What kind of evolutionist are you? Why are you not one of the other eight or ten kinds?

23. What would you have said fifty years ago if I told you I had a living coelacanth in my aquarium?

24. Is there one clear prediction of macroevolution that has proved true?

25. What is so scientific about the idea of hydrogen gas becoming human?

26. Do you honestly believe that everything came from nothing?

After you have answered the preceding questions, please look carefully at your answers and thoughtfully consider the following questions.

1. Are you sure your answers are reasonable, right, and scientifically provable, or do you just believe that it may have happened the way you have answered? (Do these answers reflect your religion or your science?)

2. Do your answers show more or less faith than the person who says, "God must have designed it"?

3. Is it possible that an unseen Creator designed this universe? If God is excluded at the beginning of the discussion by your definition of science, how could it be shown that He did create the universe if He did?

4. Is it wise and fair to present the theory of evolution to students as fact?

5. What is the end result of a belief in evolution (lifestyle, society, attitude about others, eternal destiny, etc.)?

6. Do people accept evolution because of the following factors?
a. It is all they have been taught.
b. They like the freedom from God (no moral absolutes, etc.).
c. They are bound to support the theory for fear of losing their job or status or grade point average.
d. They are too proud to admit they are wrong.
e. Evolution is the only philosophy that can be used to justify their political agenda.

7. Should we continue to use outdated, disproved, questionable, or inconclusive evidences to support the theory of evolution because we don’t have a suitable substitute (Piltdown man, recapitulation, archaeopteryx, Lucy, Java man, Neanderthal man, horse evolution, vestigial organs, etc.)?

8. Should parents be allowed to require that evolution not be taught as fact in their school system unless equal time is given to other theories of origins (like divine creation)?

9. What are you risking if you are wrong? As one of my debate opponents said, "Either there is a God or there is not. Both possibilities are frightening."

10. Why are many evolutionists afraid of the idea of creationism being presented in public schools? If we are not supposed to teach religion in schools, then why not get evolution out of the textbooks? It is just a religious worldview.

11. Aren’t you tired of faith in a system that cannot be true? Wouldn’t it be great to know the God who made you, and to accept His love and forgiveness?

12. Would you be interested, if I showed you from the Bible, how to have your sins forgiven and how to know for sure that you are going to Heaven? If so, call me.

Its not that most think there is no God...its all the stuff after that. I dont see a bearded old man in the sky...(that is aliens, i think)...I see a God force, a collective spirit or soul that may power the universe. BUT as far as we go and other life...THAT evolves or is tampered with by other beings in our universe. It will all be clear to us in this lifetime anyways, so lets not bother having a pissing contest. What is true will be known. I can deal with whatever that is.....can You?

 Quoting: DGN

I'll tell you a secret, Darwin repented towards the end of his life. After his death, his wife didn't know what to do with all his scientific work, so she gave it all to his old collegues. It was from them that the theory of evolution sprouted. The journey/odessy Darwin went through about the meaning of it all, in my opinion, shouldn't be as testimony against him, but rather testimony for all to learn from, Darwin finally decided there was a God, after all his searching.

It was his own personal search, it was others who exploited his material. The difference between Darwin and most believers is the fact he was a scientist and documented everything while he was on his quest of discovery. Most christians however do not document and rarer yet, are scientists. Therefore, we don't always have those confessions or testimonies from those who werent saved, or recently saved rather, save that which is from word of mouth.

The reason it spread like wildfire is simply because it was something a "learned" individual could grasp as opposed to a creator. And multiplied by the fact that men are naturally rebellious to God, well, you can see the aftermath.

trust me, Heaven is going to have some really interesting people there, and it ought to be one heck of a party.
Christians have had to face and realize their own sins, and feel compelled to try and help others as well.

This chant of Holier than thou is wrong and is taught by others making you think what is cool or acceptable to them.

The thought of "believe as i do" is strongly in an unbelievers life, because they feel they will be ridiculed by their friends.

Every falsehood a unbeliver weilds, is merely a reflection of the obstacles that unbeliever must face from his very own peers.

Unbelievers are the true followers, they are dedicated to fear of what other people think of them.

And because of this, they are ashamed of themselves, but wall themselves up to feel comfortable and safe, assuring themselves with rationality and laughter.

Which is insanity!

Re: Oh Mr Darwin, can your hamburger head disciples explain what the elephant evolved from? Was it a Hippopotaphunt?
Or maby it was a elepharosserous?

And multiplied by the fact that men are naturally rebellious to God, well, you can see the aftermath.

trust me, Heaven is going to have some really interesting people there, and it ought to be one heck of a party.

bsflag he did not repent on his deathbed. It's just one of the usual unsourced lies spread by creationists.

oh my, your a stupid one. Go read a science book moron, or is that too complex for your tiny pathetic brain.
 Quoting: Whiplash88

You sir are the stupid one. As a GLPr you ought to know you can't trust scientists. Elephants didn't evolve from anything other than other Elephants. There is no observable incidences of evoluction currently at work. Nothing is evolving and nothing has or will evolve. Things devolve. No physical object living or dead improves with time. Things only get worse.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1157811

This is a great example of insainity.
Dont trust experts on the subject (even if they are family...they all lie!!!) ...but trust me...some no name glper with half a brain.
My favorite fart of the religtard point of view is this: when all is revieled and the truth is open for all to see....we will discover we are part of a cosmic community and were created by aliens in their image....and all religtards will reject their own saviors...tasty ironic stuff, if u ask me.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1351592

Well the bolded part above is a lie. Bacteria has evolved very quickly to become penicillen resistant. MRSA anyone? Try denying that religitards.

You can see that because it only takes 30 mins for a new generation of bacteria to emerge, so evolution is sped up enormously compared to 20 years for a human.

We all know that you religitards would ignore the truth if it jumped up and bit you on the arse. You throw logic out of the window in favour of tales from 2000 years ago written by people who had very little understanding of the earth and the universe. Just how thick and stupid can you be?

You lot all think you are buying your way into heaven by paying lip service to "God" And thats all it is LIP SERVICE. If you didnt believe that God was going to send you to heaven you wouldnt give a f*ck about him. So all that love you bestow on God is out of self interest, which kind of goes against the very grain of religion.

Your stupidity, arrogance and self absorption is clear for all to see.

honestly? i dont care if anyone believes it or not. if your an unbeliever, then remain an unbeliever.

Nobody owes you explanation; you’ll ignore all fact and reasoning contradicting your beliefs anyway. Go fuck yourself, Bibletard.
