Child Support is adding all these charges and things to keep you trap. There is no reason whatsoever for this its pure greed to say the least.

What are you talking about? I've never heard of interest on child support.

The Feds match them in dollar amounts, the more they get
from men, the more they get from the Feds. It's a criminal
racket to extort money with threat of jail.
They now take so much from me that I would make more from unemployment, but would also be in contempt of court and
would be arrested. If I lost my job, in 1.5 months, ($2500)
arrears triggers arrest warrant in my state.

This includes welfare collected,hospital costs, lawyer cost, fees, court cost,etc..So, it's very easy to fall behind in a flash, and then caught in above traps.
This had nothing to do with REAL child support.
This hidden charges that had nothing to do with Real child support that goes to the mother and child, BUT many people don't know this or care to know about this.
Here's another trap. If you get layed off, sick, disable the meter never stops running up

It gets even more evil. I owe $0.00 in back child support in the State of California, but I owe $5000 in "interest" on that zero dollars owed, and another $3000 in "Late fees and administrative costs"....

Another reason I'm glad I never had kids.

The jails are full of "deadbeat" dads.
How many "deadbeat mom's are in the can right now?
I'm a single father. I got custody of my daughters 1 1/2 years after my divorce.
Right after my separation I was ordered to pay $300 a week child support.
I opened a new checking account and got those generic checks while I waited for the ones with my name printed on them to arrive.
I sent my payment in on the generic checks for 6 weeks.
Then I got my bank statement...all the child support money was still in my account.
The next day I got all my checks back from child support saying they were unacceptable cuz my name wasn't printed on them.
So according to them I was $1800 in the rears...wtf?
I went to the bank on Friday...took out $1800 in cash, went to the courthouse and made a cash payment to even things up.
I went home thinking I had straighted things out. Then there was a knock on my door. It was the Monroe County Sheriff's dept with a warrant for my arrest for failure to pay child support.
I told them my story and showed the cops the receipt for the payment I just made, returned checks from the state and the letter.
The one cop made a phone call but the person he needed to speak to had gone home already. So I got taken into custody.
The Sheriffs were cool and didn't cuff me and explained they had to execute the warrant.
Being it was the weekend I had to spend it in jail cuz I couldn't see a judge till monday.
But...I was never sent to county, I spent it at the Sheriffs office cuz the cops knew it was a mistake and kept "losing" the paperwork for me to be processed.
Went to see the judge Monday and was released...duh.
Now here is the kicker.
I have had custody of my youngest for 3 1/2 years(my oldest is 20 now)and I haven't received one dime of the court order child support from my ex and the courts have done nothing to make her pay the $36,000 + she's in the rears for.
Father...6 weeks in the rears = a weekend in jail....Mom...3 1/2 years in the rears = not a damn thing
