Donations for Alabama in need
Neighbors in need Red Cross phone number 1-855-444-0414

If you want to help please donate, they are doing a program right now. The destruction is so bad, it is going to take a long time to fix, and a lot of money. People are in need of all things personal like underwear, pillows something to sleep on, diapers in other words they need everything you would need.

If it is in your heart to help please do. Thank you and God Bless!

Would someone keep this bumped, so it doesn't get lost in the whole forum. If you could past it on to others, it would be a
way to help too. Thank You!

yeah right, rebuild it for the next tornado to wipe it out and kill more people.

your helping ritual sacrifice by helping this lot

its just beyond belief that people build and raise their kids an a place that suffers tornadoes every spring.

if they all had shelters and used them, it might be understandable.

for nearly 300 people to be killed and all that destruction to occur in a developed nation should ring bells.

Thank you very much it will be very appreciated. These people are the salt of the earth. Even after loss of all their worldly goods, they say they are blessed. The children without their parent any more breaks my heart. God Bless You.

You are completely clueless. This was an extraordinary event. Yes, they have tornadoes every spring - most are not nearly as violent as these were. There were over 100 tornadoes in about 12 hours. One of those was over a mile wide and stayed on the ground continuously from the time it formed in MS until it got to GA. Over 4 hours on the ground. Shelters or not, there still would have been houses and businesses destroyed. I grew up in this area and this type of damage is comparable to a hurricane. It is that widespread.

You know, I was going to let you off, but now I want an apology and you better mean it! You do this over and over
It is time for an apology. If I sound mad I am, I am a grandmother but if you were near me, I would bullwhip you.

Then I would wash you mouth out with disinfectant. Then I would stick you in a hot pot of water and use a boar hair
brush with lye soap to get the slim of you.

It would be nice if we could actually send money directly to families directly affected. Any chance of someone down there making that happen? Call me jaded, but being of limited means lately, but still more than willing to send someone in need $100, I'd feel a lot better sending it directly to a family than to the Red Cross where probably 90% goes to the administrators at the top.

not to sound heartless but really...these southerners all complain about the government...blah ....blah...blah...let's get rid of government...let's get rid of regulations....and on top of that they receive WAY MORE in federal funds than they pay into the treasury. So now that they're wiped out, they come running to the government for help.

Well, screw you! Hypocrites! Go rebuild in the swamps!

I tried getting my sis to take money i wanted to send, she said NO,that they would make it.

She has no idea how long this is gonna take, how much stress will be put on her husband with the starting over and he has already had 2 heart attacks.

Im sending it anyway!

$100.00 a week as long as i can afford it.

They have no insurance on their home or whats left of it so she will take the money or i will drive from Texas and put it in her Husbands hands myself.
