Most everyone is maybe tired of hearing about weather disasters, but I wanted to post this while I was thinking about it. Remember that thread about those 2 hackers that found the NSA file on that satellite that could see the future? It was said to read 27 hours ahead by sampling media broadcasts in the future. Thought it was impossible, right? Me too. Then this weather enthusiast I ran into starts talking about a new radar system. It seems like he was obsessed with it, but the interesting part was(he claimed) this system was bringing back signals not from the present, but the future. This machine could predict what would happen for some weather event before it happened. But the part I found really interesting was-it wasn't predicting. It was seeing what the storm system or thunderstorm, etc was doing in the future. It wasn't predicting . It was seeing the future. Going into the future and bringing back what had happened thereby predicting what would happen with 99.9% accuracy. He said they were working on it at a test bed in Puerto Rico(think he said Mayagez) What reminded me of this was all the news about tornados in the south. Because I remember him saying that this systems could know the track of a tornado hours ahead of time. He even said tests had shown this. Not predicting but going forward in time and measuring the tornado and bringing back the information. Sounded kind of like bs, but now I'm not so sure it was bs. Maybe experiments like this are messing up our weather. Don't know what to think about it I forgot to mention he claimed it was a funded by a big government research program. |
