Not a bad question, but I'm sure it was Catalina islands as we had been routed between it and the coast to avoid SONGS and we could see other minor lights on the ground that are usually there. This appeared to be located right on the shoreline for a few moments, then it became much more intense and departed. The speed was incredible, much more then an SLBM or even artillery, and it's flightpath that we observed was not parabolic or ballistic, it seemed to be quite unstable even at that speed. Much like a housefly taking off from your food. Also an SLBM has a normal acceleration gradient into trans sonic speeds, this thing was almost at full speed right after liftoff, no exhaust ploom was seen and the visibility was quite good. The only other thing I could think it to be (besides a UFO) would be a laser illumination, but we saw no emitter on the ground and it was totally clear, no marine layer or anything else to provide reflectivity. What caused the eye to watch the event before liftoff was the unearthly blue color as it sat on the ground.. We both watched it for about 25 seconds before it took off, then mentioned it after it lifted off. If it was a missile test, it should have been in the MOA/warning area or have been listed in the NOTAM for the day, nothing. I've seen quite a few military birds close up, hornets, blue angels, old war birds and had an S3 go right underneath us once, but we knew it was coming long before we made visual, the controllers in Socal are on the ball after psa 182, and the only time I ever get any supprises is in the practice areas :) |

While it is certainly possible this 13 year old was abducted by evil people who believe in Satanic sacrifice, I'm sure the odds of a 13 year old being abducted by a mentally ill individual or serial killer are more realistic. But the question was how to get the help of advanced satellites orbiting the planet to help hunt down these abductors. Satanic sacrifice have a preference for babies not 13 year old teens. But I'm no expert. |
