The Chinese people could rise up so easily and fix things. It would be so frickin easy. Same with the US. But no, people are sheep and cowards. They let one man brutally control millions. THAT is why you are sheep. It is hilarious to watch idiots in the matrix. The best entertainment ever.

It is also why they deserve the punishment they get. I have zero sympathy for cowards who CHOOSE to live under tyranny.

If I was a Chinese man, I wouldnt put up with that shit. Id move my family into the country and work the rice paddies if I had too. or go into construction. Build for my fellow men. Chinese is expanding like crazy and theres always a construction boom there. I even think they had one of the worlds records for fastest built skyscraper

FUCK assembly line jobs, Anyone who works for a Chinese slave factory isnt that bright..

Hi, i want a construction job. I know there are over 1 billion people in this country and i have absolutely ZERO experience, but i want a job in construction. Oh, i also want some land that i can grow rice on. I don't care if somebody already owns it, just give it to me because i want it.

Maybe, they work those jobs because they have no other choice.

Takes a lot more than one.

It's the same theory as Nazis having 1 guard executing 100 Jews. If the Jews didn't march into the ovens, they never would have been able to control them all.

There is no possible way that China could control 1.2 billion citizens if they all stopped believing that the status quo is as good as it gets.
“We must keep the people busy with political antagonisms."
“We’ll therefore speed up the question of reform (of tarrifs within) the Democratic Party; and we’ll put the spotlight on the question of protection …(for) the Republican Party."

“By dividing the electorate this way, we’ll be able to have them spend their energies at struggling amongst themselves, on questions that, for us, have no importance whatsoever." - United State Bankers magazine, 1892.

China was all farms, till the cities beckoned them , luring them with the material life and all the kids left the farms

The construction industry is mostly trainable. Obviously youve never been in construction. It is considered that all young men know the basics and they learn the rest, and are trained while on the job.

Where have you been? Google Chinas Construction Industry Boom. You know how huge that country is? they hardly even dented to the amount of development in the west, theres no slowing them.

anyone that purchases any product made anywhere in a factory has much the same 'blood on their hands'. factories everywhere exploit people on a daily basis, i live in Ky. and just left a job that had many of the same working conditions the article cited "Excessive overtime was rife, despite a legal limit of 36 hours a month. One payslip showed a worker did 98 hours of overtime in one month, the Observer reported.
During peak periods of demand for the iPad, workers were made to take only one day off in 13.
Badly performing workers were humiliated in front of colleagues.
Workers are banned from talking and are made to stand up for their 12-hour shifts." It's not one product or one factory, it's everywhere in the commercialized, consumerist world. the only hope a factory worker ever had of decent working conditions and a living wage was labor unions which are now being set upon by the conservatives of the U.S. this is not a case of 'us against the commie Chinese', it's the haves vs. the have nots.

I love the way I live, I love materialism, who doesnt? but I also have empathy and feel guilty that someone making my jeans and laptop is probaly sleeping on a mat and eating a bowl or rice and riding a bicycle...

Why cant a CEO accept wages that are slightly higher than ours and bring the jobs back to the USA where we have ethics and labor control laws..

Its greed to show the most profit possible...

I hope China raises the value of their dollar so much that taking in the costs of freight etc, it will simply be cheaper keeping jobs in the USA.

The Chinese will demand better, equal standards and make things for their own people rather than us..

man's inhumanity to man, part IIIVXMM

The investigation report showed that during peak periods of demand for the iPad, workers were made to take only one day off in 13. Badly performing workers were humiliated in front of colleagues and workers are banned from talking and are made to stand up for their 12-hour shifts.

They said some workers put in 60 to 80 hours of overtime a month for minimum pay.

So, in a multi billion dollar corporation, it is the CEO's paycheck that keeps jobs overseas? Nothing to do with taxes, american worker salaries, medical benifits, and on and on. if only the CEO would take $100,000 a year instead of 20 million everything would be fine right?

Oh, the Chinese don't use dollars as thier currency, they use the yuan.

THEY DO USE USA dollars, Chinese Manufacturers are paid in USA dollars which is then converted . I meant the conversion rate should close the gap and their value of their Yuan should be raised.. But they do use USA money..They are paid in dollars.

As to taxes, our salaries and medical benefits, yes, HELLO ....
not paying us that is keeping jobs overseas. dont you think an American is worth it or do you think were pieces of shit

5 steps to bring back our jobs.

1 - Universal Healthcare - Rest of west has it - all the jobs are going places that either have this, or have 3rd world conditions in which healthcare involves death in the street.

2 - College for All - Most students in western countries get paid monthly to attend college.. Say what you want about this - it leaves USA now in the 15th and 17th and 23rd places on things like math, science, and even basic reading - at all... literacy is falling away here.

3 - Technical School for those who cannot make it into college - In most western countries, students are paid monthly to attend technical schools after high school, if they cannot or do not want, to attent 2-4 year university

4 - State pensions for all. SS guarnateed for all. Double the SS exemption. Companies do not want to pay these... Its obvious.

5 - Market protectionism, tarrifs, VATs, etc. - Just look at what China does to US companies trying to import into their country for some ideas - or look at what USA was doing in the time of and before Raygun... And what NAFTA in particular ended\changed.
