Was assigned to us in lit class circa 1970.
It was my awakening and explained what we learned in social studies, peace was never to be.
I thank the school system of the time for enlightening me.

Both books were made into movies.

I remember reading this book as if it were something that was completely separate from what could ever happen to me. Sad.

1. The Self-Defense Statement.

They present themselves as the victims and reframe any aggression or any violation against others by labeling them as self-defense actions. Then, they repeat Israel has the right to defend itself, even if are the attackers and destroyers, being more powerful and other countries do not dare attack them, they portray themselves as the victims of injustice. Others are irrationally aggressive towards them and they are only defending themselves.

2. The Mission and Morality.

Even when they have a very abusive interest like stealing the resources of others, always, always, present their actions as serving morality, like protecting democracy or freedom or proctecting people from their own dictator. They are always presenting themselves as the savior angel, and the salvation for others.

3. Dehumanize the Enemy.

This is easy. They always remind their people how humane the USA and Israel are, and make who they want to attack as bad as they can. Whatever their opponent do is dangerous and bad, but what what they do is good and noble, even killing. Dehumanizing their enemy helps these cunts to instill fear against their enemy, and makes sure that there will be no empathy for these whom they are going to kill, to torture, to destroy, to violate or to steal from.

4. Repeat a Lie so Many Times, Until they Believe it is Truth.

No matter how crazy their goals against others are, they repeat their lie statements again and again as if this is the only issue that needs attention until it becomes a familiar consensus that everybody agrees on. Think about news channels, especially those that promote propaganda and political agendas like Fox News, CNN and some others, and even internet forums that promote, sometimes even by force, the lies and propaganda from certain countries and political views you really find repulsive like racism, unjust wars and segregation so they can control us better. Everybody is part of its own classification and even mods create the friction necessary for us to respond.

Don't worry. Even if they swpread lies and propaganda, people tend to forget, really fast. Think how the US and Israel and their minions in TV and forums spread the lies about Iraqi Weapons of Mass Destruction, well, actually it was a lie, a false justification to steal the Iraqi oil.

Both countries, the USA and Israel have used these for lies to start a war everytime it is convenient to them. However, their use has the same long term effect than cigarrettes. They feel good in the moment, but they leave a bad after taste and ultimately lead to self-destruction as well as the adquisition of cancer, spiritually and materially on their nations.
