I am beyond sick of GAY CULTURE being shoved down my Fucking throat

The gay pride parades in my city aren't too bad, but years ago I lived in Toronto and theirs was really awful. Floats would go by with men whipping each other. I don't know how bad the Toronto parade is nowadays, but I certainly agree that people who want social acceptance are not helping their cause by acting like lunatics.

I am 25, come from a pretty big liberalish town in Canada. Absolutely every single gay guy I have met is like that. Flamboyant, girly, whiny voice, talk just like the media portrays them. They are usually kind, adventurous people but yes they are behaving exactly as is stereotyped. Perhaps if I knew more older (40+) gays I would see that not all are like that but from my personal experience I cannot say that.

I have met quite a lot of gay guys, perhaps it is just because of my age group and the town I am in, but LOTS of young people are gay nowadays, for some people it is the cool thing to do/be. It seems like a lot of them are flamboyant because that is how our society portrays them, so that is how they act.

I am definitely for equal rights for all humanity and have no issue with homosexuals. However I am sick of all the media coverage. It's just gotten old. It's great that we are slowly putting this behind us, slowly becoming more friendly to all types of people, but we can't expect change overnight. This shit takes time. The fact that we are even HAVING votes to determine if gays should marry is HUGE. 40 years ago that would never happen. We are moving forward but we need to just chill on the gay thing. It will start turning people off of the cause, because while people might be just fine with gay marriage, they might not be okay with it being discussed ad nauseum.

So in short I'm sick of the media coverage, NOT the issue itself.

"Gay" and "conspiracy" don't even belong in the same sentence. There have always been gays. It's cross cultural and goes as far back as historical records do. It's also present in other species, which really makes it hard to argue this is something that is against nature itself, since animals aren't presumed to have the cognition to "choose" to be homosexual.

My working theory, based on the fact that the farther down the line you are as a sibling the higher chance of you being a homosexual, means homosexuality is nature's attempt at population control. If you are the 7'th son of your mother and father, that's a lot of proliferation and threatens overpopulation.

Having a slight hormone change (like a record) in the mother with every birth to give subsequent siblings a higher chance at having an alternate sexual orientation (that does not lead to reproduction) is most likely nature's way at attempting to keep the population in check.
