As a heterosexual man, I'm glad there are gay guys. Why? Less competition for ladies.

"Gay" and "conspiracy" don't even belong in the same sentence. There have always been gays. It's cross cultural and goes as far back as historical records do. It's also present in other species, which really makes it hard to argue this is something that is against nature itself, since animals aren't presumed to have the cognition to "choose" to be homosexual.

My working theory, based on the fact that the farther down the line you are as a sibling the higher chance of you being a homosexual, means homosexuality is nature's attempt at population control. If you are the 7'th son of your mother and father, that's a lot of proliferation and threatens overpopulation.

Having a slight hormone change (like a record) in the mother with every birth to give subsequent siblings a higher chance at having an alternate sexual orientation (that does not lead to reproduction) is most likely nature's way at attempting to keep the population in check.
