gay marriage, excuse me? This is not a government issue. marriage is a church issue. If churches want to fuck around with gay marriage-I don't give a fuck but I certainly will not visit your church as I don't want to watch something for which I don't care about. Gays should create their own fucking celebration and ceremony. A recent poll stated more than 70% of gay couples were atheists, well so then why on godsgreen earth do they want to get married in a fucking church? They want the government benefits, fuck that its silly, the government needs to quit everything marriage.

Most Gay people in my mind, were abandoned people or were raised poorly, picked on, mentally beat down, molested, raped or as a last resort just plain unattractive and lonely.

There might be a tiny tiny tiny gene abnormality that can explain the gays who became gay from nothingness, and this we are talking is probably less than 0.0005% of the population.

Googled it because hetrophobes were going on and on that the new Pope doesn't support fake marriage..I mean gay marriage,like somehow the definition of marriage would just change at a whim. I will speak for myself, but also for a segment of the "gay" community: we WILL stop not at equality, but at the end of persecution.

We just want to feel safe. Whether someone thinks of me or us as equals is of no great importance to me. But "unfortunately" people often mistreat people they consider unequal to them, hence the "fight for equality".

The real goal is to end persecution.

While I don't agree with some of what you sad, OP (I tend to be much more tolerant and accepting of individuality and whatever reasons someone may or may not be gay)... however, I do feel the same as you about it being made so public. I'm sick of it being thrown in my face all the time.

I am also fed up with it being held up as mainstream for kids these days. My daughter claims that 1/2 of the kids in her high school are gay. That is way beyond the natural percentage for genetic variation and seems to me more like straight kids are feeling pressured to "explore" before settling on a gender preference. How backwards has our society become when something that was a major taboo 50 years ago is now a required "must try at least once" activity?
