Obviously, you dont understand the distributive property.

You only use it when what inside the parenthesis cant be combined.

You do parantheses FIRST.

If it was (2+x). THEN YOU COULD USE IT.

You clearly dont understand factoring either!

If it was (3x + 3y) you could factor.
