ALERT: Why did the USGS take almost all the USA Seismic Servers offline?!

Because of people like me drawing attention to the activity around the pacific rim.

For what it's worth, there was a bad earthquake in October 2005 after a series of strong hurricanes pounded the Gulf region. These recent tornadoes seem similar in that they were history making weather events. Only time will tell.

It's a real "piss me off" our tax dollar that pays to bring this info to the public is a joke- unable to see the truth when the powers that be deem it unnecessary.

I searched all day 4/28 to see "how it was going."

Nothing. Zero. Nada.

Geez....Thanks for the update..I wasnt' even aware of this as I havent' checked USGS for around 30 Hours....when did this begin and coukld it be due to the Tornado activity where ther may have been alot of Seismic Servers?

Come come now they can't keep the servers or radar online while they set off explosions, fire up harp, or zap areas with the x37. The sheep might get wise....

i first noticed this around 10pm EST last night
i thought it would be back up today, but it's not
I can see some of the seismic equipment in the south having issues due to the tornado's, but all the US servers?

I was on that site about an hour ago or so it was working FINE

and i even took a screen shot of Australia cause that one was all blacked out

Agreed. There is simply too much happening relatively fast:

- Japan (Fuk-u-shima),
- Massive Flooding,
- New Madrid - Levee being blown up,
- Emergency Broadcast System - happening multiple times a day in multiple States,
- Obama's Fake BC,
- Osama Bin Laden alegded death,
- Royal Couple avoids going on a Honeymoon (few days ago),
- Lybia, Israel/Iran, etc...
- Etc...

Something is going on...

The list just keeps growing...

Happens all the time.
The rest of the world's servers are fine...but the US servers, all of them, are not.

What's the odds of something happening while they are down for a day???
