I just got back from my FIL's house where I had to persuade him NOT to sell the moment the market opens. His miners are solid and he isn't all that involved anyhow.

I predict a massive sell off of miners Monday and will not be selling my holdings. I don't care what the digit on the screen says right now...but as silver sells off some more (as panicky folks who don't understand the rather small silver market rush into gold) it won't take to long for silver to recover as the only option for smaller investors as gold skyrockets...then the miners will go through the roof!

My prediction anyhow...

Silvers up 4.19% today ....

I bought three grands worth last week, and since then, bullion by post has been closed three times ...

It's open again today, and I'm about to trade another grand in worthless paper for real metal. More silver !!!

Have read a few very bullish articles lately that signaled silver was about to make a real move up. Within days or weeks max. We shall see.

Give it until mid-September...when the metal markets are 'supposed' to come back to life.

I dont know about these miners guys and gals. Its almost as if there is no trust whatsoever in the markets. I mean, its almost a case where miners are such a sure thing that its actually keeping the stocks from surging, because everyone and their brother is expecting it. Meanwhile, physical PM sales are through the roof and gold itself is rocketing north like a thermometer of mistrust.

I live 15 miles from cripple creek colorado, pan the creeks around colorado, some success, but now I am taking it to a new level,most of the old mines are on blm property. have been collecting high grade ore tailings from the old mines.and this week have built an ore crusher in the back yard. most of these mines were produceing gold when it was less than 20 an ounce. and theres hundreds of tons of old tailings at my disposal. on vacation this week. and going to start my crusher operation this week. and pan the crushed rock with a little mercury. Intresting hobby ,yea.also have buckets and buckets of black sand that came
out of the blue river from breckenridge co.and a
ton of tailings from leadville Colorado. keep you posted. have done this with great success. but not on this scale.

How does a program like that work? You purchase silver and they just hold it for you?

How often can you get your silver out of the vault?

Although this is not a blow to any particular company, to me, this is no better than buying on the comex. How can you really trust anyone that much?

You have to be impressed at silver inching higher in spite of a major market sell off. If that doesnt convince you silver is acting more like money nothing will.

It's allocated FWIW, I think...but fuck that and hold physical...really now.

We ain't seen NOTHING yet...I remember a decade ago when 0.10 was a HUGE movement in silver...wait until it goes up $5-10 a day...

Let's hope these gains hold. Silver has a habit of gaining $1-2 then losing it a few days later.

Because Sprott is the real deal, and a really good person to boot. He's got some interesting philanthropic stuff that dedicates its resources to helping people to help themselves (as opposed to charities that just dump funds into activities that do nothing to change the underlying issues).

James Turk is also the real deal, and it is worth it for this guy from the Netherlands to look into GoldMoney. Both his organization and Sprott's are regularly audited and are on "our side" of the playing field.

Head and shoulders is a very unreliable technical indicator that works many times and also fails a good deal of times. I don't know anybody who uses it as a stand alone indicator that uses T/A. That being said, it is useful and I'd love for it to be correct here. I've been 'all in' with silver for a long time so it doesn't change a thing for me.
