I'm having fun roofing in the sun, the first 8 hour work days I've done in years. My friends who are working with me have all bought in to silver at some point and we all now work for '2/3rds of an ounce an hour'. Not bad...would have made more day trading but that account is locked to me and I want...more metal in my hand. HOpe this thread doesn't die...it's about to get haywire out there...thankfully it's only my head telling me this!

I get the impression ETFs, SLV and GLD are sucking the life out of them them for now. I've talked about that here for some years now. Not much has changed IMO.

There is less silver bullion inventory in the world than there is gold bullion inventory; around one billion ounces of silver versus three billion ounces of gold. Common sense would suggest that an item more rare than another similar item would reflect that relative rarity in price. While silver has vastly outperformed gold over any reasonable time period over the past ten years, the rarity of silver is vastly underappreciated. I would guess that maybe one out of every million of the world’s inhabitants knows of this fact. Even among those exposed to the rarity of silver compared to gold, few accept it. Inevitably, as more come to learn and appreciate this startling fact, more will choose to invest in silver.

Thats some twisted shit right there. Yes, silver will likely be a better "investment" than gold for most but it aint rarer than gold. Common sense didnt bring up the FACT that most of the gold ever mined sits in vaults and will never be available to anyone. Im going to continue to BTFD on both though because 10 to 1, 10 to 1, 10 to 1, if it gets there, HOLY CRAP!

I live in a different world and will instantly mail you off a 1/2 ounce silver wolf (2006), still wrapped. I just can't PM or email anyone without it...I'd rather ask the get perma banned as my ISP seems to be (at home) half the time.

I only want a 4 month subscription and the wolves are selling between 35-50...plus they are really cute!

I think with the magnitude of the market sell off, a silvertard ought be damned impressed with the strength of silver. I'm pretty well shocked. Lets hope the DOW can shake this correction but dont hold your breath.

I'm REALLY gearing up for miners at this point. I havent been in the market for nearly 2 years. But miners are ripe. I just hope ETFs dont skew the miner gains in this bull market.

I've been keeping some dry powder and can't wait for Girl Geniuses US Silver to drop some more...I'd love to buy it at $0.10!!!!!!

I'm going to spend the weekend narrowing down the miners I'm jumping in. I'll probably be investing more into mining shares than gold itself from here on out. i got in early on the gold buying and I'm damn happy about that. :o)

Looks like it may be a bit early to jump into the miners right now with the downgrade! I'm going to go back to my labouring job and ask for cash instead of silver (not that that wasn't enjoyable!). Wait a bit (the lag time for Canada to feel the American ripple is quite long) THEN jump into the market with some money...

Amazing how events can turn on a dime. I didnt believe in a downgrade from these guys. I thought it was all hype nonsense. There ya go. I'll see how she unfolds. I havent bought anything yet.

At this point...it seems to me to be a wise decision to take advantage of the numerous sales offerings. There is always the 'Bob Chapman' special on RBN announced mid-way through the Tuesday show...way cheaper then APMEX prices on certain things plus a mug and the Int.Forecaster...

But it normally runs dry pretty quickly. I think last week they had silver Eagles BELOW spot...plus a bunch of fractional, European, gold pieces at a lower mark up then APMEX...shop about and look for sales.

Hell even the 'book, 2 walking Liberties and 3 movies plus the Int. Forecaster' or some such thing from AJ was a steal...

$5 up on sunday
$5 to $10 up monday
$20 up on Tuesday

Then margins raised high enough to cool the slide for awhile. Things trudge along until maybe Oct/Nov and then all hell breaks loose.

I'd give mid-Sept myself for the hell busting out but hey...what's a month or two!?

Understand, this is a dangerous time to be getting aboard this ship.

Now is the perfect time to get aboard the silver ship... Buy on the dips... Silver has gone down almost $4 in a few days. I wish I had $ to add more to my stack... APMEX stopped selling PM's this weekend... I haven't ever seen them do this... This is a telling sign. If PM's were to head lower, they would be selling PM's for small spot prices.
