Sorry if I misunderstood. When I read "I don't see this "Description" you're talking about", I thought you were talking about the disclaimer, "DON'T BELIEVE A DAMN WORD YOU READ ON THIS WEBSITE!" which is where I said it was. You don't have to be rude about it!

When I pull up both of the links you gave, this is what I get:

YAHOO!

I don't see what the problem is. It looks like the description is the same on both, except that in Yahoo! they add the words, "Conspiracy Theories ..." and then they have all those fancy links--2 per line--that Google doesn't have.

Other than that, they're the same, and to me, the Yahoo looks better--like they are trying harder to get you to go to GLP by making it look prettier.

Well, thankyou, but I don't know the difference. Maybe you're seeing something on your computer that I don't see on mine. The funny thing is that with search engines (and not just Google or Yahoo!, but with all of them) if you take your laptop to a different location, like for example, an Internet Cafe, you may find that the layout is different than what it was at home. Likewise, even when you log on at home the next day, it may be different.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but from what you're reading it seems to me that you are complaining that on your computer, it seems that Yahoo! is saying "DON'T BELIEVE A DAMN WORD YOU READ ON THIS WEBSITE!", but on Google, it doesn't say that. Yet on my computer, it is exactly as I posted on both, and neither mentions that disclaimer--and to see that disclaimer, you have to actually be on this website and follow my directions above..

Incidentally, maybe my mind is playing tricks with me, but I don't remember that disclaimer ever being the first thing they mention. I thought it was buried somewhere in the middle of the text. Have they changed it?

That is the question I have been asking. Anyhow You live in "norway" so maybe the censorship is different... makes ya wonder.

What would be even more interesting would be for you to try what I said--if you have a laptop, that is... You don't have to go to an Internet Cafe, like Starbucks Coffee Shop, or at Kinko's, where you have to pay. You can just go to your friendly local library. When I went to visit my daughter in Riverside, CA, last year, they had free Internet there in the library. Maybe it would be the same where you live.

Just go to one of those places and log on and try both Yahoo! and Google and see what you see. It would be interesting to know if they were the same as what you are seeing now or if they are different.

Re: GLP under Fire??? Censorship !!THIS THREAD IS A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCES..
This thread is totally confusing! Is it about search engines or GLP, or what?!?!?!!!whatever
 Quoting: chickenlittle

I still have literally no idea.

Shall I spell it out..
This thread is simply about the fact that Every word typed is Censored. Maybe this fact is hard to take for all the "Paid" members, or maybe it's a known fact. Originally all I asked was who chooses the "descriptions" that are on the search engines.. If it is "random" then it is quite obvious that TPTB calculated the Description change with the "attack" on our freedom of TRUTH, fuk the freedom of speech that is GONE and nobody here is willing to stand up to our .gov BULLYs

Well, you're comparing two sites that one is accused and being sued for copying the other. Google is suing Yahoo! because they apparently have copyied Google. At least that is what I remember hearing about a week ago.

I just tried the same thing on Bing.com, and Ask.com, and the results were much different. On Bing, I couldn't even get Godlike Productions from just typing glp. To get this site, I had to type in the whole name. Then the listing was the same as what I showed that Google looks like here in Norway, but Ask was much different.

On ASK.com
For GLP:
Their description simply says: "Forum Topics Adv. Search Directory Donate To GLP ... ; Join GLP It's FREE ... I propose an official new modern GLP Doom theme song..."

BUT, for Godlike Productions
the description is the same as all the others.

That would lead me to believe that they all take the description from this website itself.

By the way... I just noticed your post where you made a "screencap" and no, mine is not that way at all. I find it amazing that nothing else is shown but that disclaimer.
