Chris, if I could move away from Elites and their pissing contests for a moment and ask some spiritually related questions.

Why do animals exist? Are they a lower form of physical being? Are they meant to feed us? If so, why does one incur negative karma from eating meat?

Why would a soul reincarnate into an animal body as opposed to a human body? Is there any rhyme or reason to that, or is it completely random? I remember you said you were a shark in a past life.

Do animals in general have a universal language/method of communication? Can they communicate through telepathy? Are there any animals right now at this moment that are smarter than we are led to believe and know exactly what is going on in the world right now?

Do only mammals have the capacity to feel emotion like humans do? What about insects, lizards etc?

What was the original purpose of dinosaurs inhabitating our planet and was there a specific reason why they were killed off?

I took some cough medicine and I felt good and disassociated from my body. Well, mostly because I was sick, but I kinda liked the feeling. I was clear headed in a weird way. It seems like it dulls the body's senses in a way I don't mind; I'm not foggy minded, just everything feels less intense and sensitive.

So: A simple practical question is:

How do we do simple rituals? Reading your thread I developed the theory that all you need is a clearly separated ritual time and a ritual place (like squares or circles), marking the time e.g. with sound like a bell, rhythm - e.g. shaman drum, and possibly some focus of a good archetype (e.g. Buddha) with a candle, incense, possibly water or wine and a piece of food or grains. Possibly it helps to pay homage to the four directions and to have both a man and a woman as leaders. One person should clearly intitiate and close things. Benevolent mantras could be used. If there is an object that you believe is protective (e.g. an eagle feather) you can use that too. If it is successful, you may want to hold a protective promise for a while - like until the new moon. Abstain from sex, meat, alcohol or tobacco or sewwts or whatever is important. Possibly trial and error are the greatest guides but Christopher here may know what a simple person can do easily to improve their lot.

Ecology: I am sure none of us would meddle in what he or serious magicians are supposed to do in terms of collective fate. But all cultures that survived for a while held rituals - Native Americans, Indians, Ancient Greeks, Hebrews, Shamanic peoples, etc. They held rituals for good hunting, good crops, luck, progeny, health etc.

There are many areas in our lives where we could use this.
Some of us have been in fact doing such activities inadvertently and without clear intent. Maybe this thread could be of some use to us.

Stones/chakras/crystals

You hinted at this a while ago. Relating to chakras and elements to fortify I think. I would be interested in anything you feel like sharing - of course the Indians, Chinese and Europeans have a rich lore on this subject but we would be interested in YOUR perspective.
I used to set stones as a silversmith - mainly rings and pendants.

Here are a couple of questions for starters.

1. Is Moldavite a fad or the real thing for some?
2. What about (genuine) turquoise? (I see more fake ones these days).
3. Possibly you can tell those of us whose palms you read what stones or crystals are best - or what colors (I guess the throat chakra is the most common place to wear stuff). You probably remember me with my scattered Venus line...

4. In astrology, sometimes you are supposed to avoid certain stones and colors. I was told to avoid emerald twenty years ago... What are your principles on this?

Negative karma is incurred when one being consumes another being - the aspect of karma relating to this topic has to do w/ the being's sentience - how aware/intelligent it is. Plants have life, spirit, aura, purpose - yet we eat them but it incurs less negative karma since plants are less sentient.

I'm not sure about animal language. It doubt it. Animals feel emotions too, anyone w/ a dog knows this. The lower lifeforms like fish & insects have emotions too yes.
