Many referenced 'hidden hand'. I wanted to determine to which group he belongs - nothing more, nothing less.

He referred to the other group as being followers of Crowley and also that the OPs family considers this other group to be " Out There" . But the OP also said his group follows some Golden Dawn teachings I believe.
