Hello, from what i can tell humans have been eating cows for a long time, and even with the ~40 year incubation period of mad cow disease, if this was not a recent phenomenon there would be more documented cases of people getting all zombie like. Why does it not seem to be the case, and that this seems more like a recent thing, like in the past century thing, instead of multiple centuries/millennium even? What changed? I know our meat processing is all about the profit and efficiency and shenanigans right now though. Not the processing or how they are raised? Such as feeding GMO corn, or how those slaughter places took 'efficiency' to a whole other level? Or more smaller cow raising operations turning into fewer megaplants? Could those things add to the mutation?
