A transparent government? What if George Bush Jr went on TV and told you, "Here's the deal - 9/11 was a way to get into Afghanistan for their $1 trillion in minerals and into Iraq for their oil. The Arab countries have populations they cannot support, and I have to either use $2 trillion of your tax dollars to prop up their governments or we face a war costing over $10 trillion." Hi OP,

This person sounds more like those "do gooders/ivory tower do nothing elite group from india" more than from traditional/legacy (post Constantine) Christian organizations today.
Also, what is so bad about those "rebel elite guys that doesn't want any form of manipulation and control over others"? Their end result doesn't necessarily have to be a law of the jungle kind of anarchy reality does it? What if we had a government, and organizations, and institution like the kinds we have today, but are more transparent, less self-serving, and more giving (in regards to compassion, among many others). Or what we have today just without the secretive, behind the scenes on the down-low, kind of things. Is that maybe what those rebels guy might want?

Or actually having a government and it's organizations that are really "be thou for the people" for a change. So is this what those 'other guys' of the elites, the cast out rebels sort of want? Or is that not the goals or values of those rebel elite guys? Also do the various elite faction people, and their followers, really get a chance to really know other factions? Other than some of the team leaders, would one faction somehow be able to tell other people belong to other factions?
