I can't answer your question. Now's not the proper time. Shortest, easiest answer is that when teaching a child a parent must realize the differences among answering 'what', 'how', and 'why'. KNOWLEDGE answers 'what?' - what happened when, where, and to whom. Knowing results in average intelligence. UNDERSTANDING answers 'how' and bears excellent intelligence. Sensing patterns and relationships occurs from understanding. WISDOM answers 'why' – wrapping the mind around principals and results in ultimate intelligence. Knowledge is stationary in the mind, but wisdom pushes knowledge into the real world. and remember a good, simple saying when teaching children, "Dumb people talk about other people. Normal people talk about events, times, and places. Smart people talk about ideas." What sorts of introductory themes and mannerisms should one try to instill into a 2 and a half year old child? and What method or approach would you take to instill certain concepts into said child at this early of an age?

I'm not saying that quote(or others) doesn't resonate with honesty, but don't give me that sort of answer. Give me an idea of how certain ideas were instilled into you. How do children in your 'rites' or 'groups' or whatever you 'dont name yourselves' get taught certain principles? And which principles do you notice all said children being taught, no matter which 'elitist group' they belong to? Also, if you have them, what sorts of things do you do differently than most parents who aren't in the 'know'? Still hoping you'll respond directly instead of your way of circumlocution. |
