He did go to those places and was kicked out. Then he went to Iran - kicked out. Egypt - kicked out. He joined the Essenes PS: Jesus wasn't stern and serious like he comes off in the Bible. He had a great sense of humor and constantly was laughing and making others laugh. Mohammed and Buddha too, on that point. Who knows what happened to Jesus before he was 30?
