I suppose that is possible. This particular storm though, it's following pretty close to what the computer models were predicting, and looking at Precipitable Water charts (1000-500 mb RH) and 850 mb (Temps) charts, all of it was suggesting a very deep, intense storm. Back when I first saw it on a GFS 12Z run on Mon 08/15, I thought it would be a Cat 3 or 4 when it made landfall. It's already expected that the pressure is going to deepen quite a bit up to a Cat 3 or so, so let's see if it gets suddenly intense as it moves to cooler waters If any of them have hurricane tech/rituals for hurricanes, Irene is pretty unlikely it's from them. I was seeing Irene on GFS models runs a week before the storm had even formed. That's forecasting success, not a planned event You're lucky too. The Colorado one was to be much stronger and directed to bring down the Hoover Dam. The D.C. quake was to be much stronger as well and centered closer to D.C. Both are pathetic retaliations by the Muslim Elites.
