No because people would accept other cultures more readily and diversity would be encouraged. For New World Order; because society has been in immature, selfish "puberty" long enough. It's time to evolve.
Quoting: the darkness comes Do you ever worry that maybe a New World Order would create a less diverse, and therefore, weaker World? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 3491247 Quoting: the darkness comes What I mean is that having one world government means that people would have to live where and how they were told, lines would be drawn, and it would homogenize. Especially cultures that have grown out of where they have lived, plant based knowledge, spiritual knowledge connected with their ancestors who have become part of the ground around them. All these thing are in danger of being lost. How can you encourage true diversity if there is one government telling people where and how to live and exerting control over them? While I think America is great in its own way, I mourn for the Native Americans who have been uprooted, all their knowledge and culture which has been lost. And all the people who moved here for a new beginning only to lose their own family's heritage. I think about the emptiness in American culture from the homogenization of our culture. Scraps are left, here and there of our own cultural and ancestral knowledge, and 'science' has proven itself inadequate in my mind to replace it. It seems on the edge of this great change, to lose what is left of knowledge passed down through centuries for the sake of 'security' or 'evolution' is a hazardous mistake. Can we not evolve in such a way that we can truly learn to live with one another in relative harmony without a parent slapping our hand?
