I'm more of a written-word person than spoken-word. When you're doing something live or visual - like news anchors - you can't go back and edit, rethink, fact-check things compared to written word like newspapers, magazines. Also the very act of reading - moving the eyes back and forth - increases intelligence. Staring straight ahead at a TV or computer monitor doesn't increase intelligence as much. When I watch a movie I always turn on the captions. lol
