Our Spiritual Declaration: Thales

Chapter 18: Thales

1. The ancient Greek philosopher, Thales, was the first popular figure who attempted to explain the world around him by scientific inquiry, rather than mystical means. He is in the Ranks of the Righteous for using knowledge as a foundation for life. Thales was born in modern-day Turkey around 630 BC.

2. Thales traveled to Africa and acquired the Egyptian's knowledge of geometry. He traveled to the Middle East and gained access to astrological records of the Babylonians and Chaldeans.

3. Thales was deeply interested in mathematics. Mathematics is the purest and most objective form of knowledge. As knowledge/wisdom is the first step on the Path of Humanity, mathematics is (next to language, social skills, and physical development) the beginning of that first step; therefore math is one of the first steps on the entire Path. Mathematics is the language of God. Geometry is especially important as it relates this language of God into our everyday, physical lives and is nearly the closest inquiry through which one may understand God's nature.

4. Thales believed water is the substance from which all things spring forth. He viewed water as the unifying substance of all things material. This was incorrect, but still modern-day physics has yet to discover what the unifying element of the universe is. Many creation stories claim water existed before all else (see Chapter 10). However, Thales probably reached his conclusion through observation, as water exhibits itself as a solid, liquid, and gas.

5. Thales believed the soul is the cause of all movement. Basic it may be, but Thales was mostly correct, as you'll later understand.

6. Thales said the earth floats on water, and earthquakes came from the roughness of the ocean.

7. With analysis of Middle Eastern astrological records, Thales predicted the total solar eclipse of May 28, 585 BC.

8. Thales set the correct date of the summer solstice. He observed the sun from Mount Mycale near his home. Remember, on peaks one finds peace. Thales observed the sun over a period of years to determine the correct solstice date.

9. Thales advised sailors to navigate using the constellation Ursa Minor; because it shifts less in the sky than other constellations.

10. The Great Pyramid was thousands of years old when Thales visited Egypt, yet its height remained a mystery. Thales simply waited until the time of day when his shadow's length equaled his height. He then measured the Pyramid's shadow, which equaled its own height. This was the first popular use of a ratio.

11. The importance of Thales cannot be overestimated. He was a role for the idea that we must invest in knowledge before religious beliefs are formed. This doesn't mean knowledge is more important than religion. It's simply the order in which they occur.

Our Spiritual Declaration: Lao-Tzu and Taoism

Chapter 19: Lao-Tzu and Taoism

1. Lao-Tzu was born in China around 600 BC.

2. Before dwelling into Lao-Tzu's teachings, first consider the emerging difference between Western and Eastern thought. Eastern thought travels in a circle - all things are ends and beginnings of themselves and repeat. On this circle there is no 'close' or 'far', it's all subjective. Western thought goes in a straight line, a definite beginning and end to all things. This thought views things as objective. Both schools of thought have truth and faults. Consider the shape of DNA as a modern-day reminder of the truth. DNA exists as a spiral ladder twisting up and down. Thought is neither circular nor linear but a ladder forever spiraling upward and downward. Things do repeat but not in an exact manner. Actions lead us nearer or farther from the truth and happiness, yet in an often redundant way requiring patience.

3. Lao-Tzu founded the religion Taoism. "Tao" is what keeps the universe balanced. The following is a few basic teachings of Taoism with following commentary.

4. "The first practice is the practice of undiscriminating virtue: take care of those who are deserving; also, and equally, take care of those who are not. When you extend your virtue in all directions without discriminating, your feet are firmly planted on the path that returns to the Tao."

5. Charity must have no barriers, a universal truth.

6. "Those who wish to embody the Tao should embrace all things. To embrace all things means first that one holds no anger or resistance toward any idea or thing, living or , formed or formless. Acceptance is the very essence of the Tao."

7. This can be easily misinterpreted. Acceptance of all things is maddening. Acceptance of lies leads to the most depressing pages in history (the most evil thing is abusing power, the second most evil is those who allow it to happen). Acceptance of truth leads to the most uplifting events. Distinguish between considering and accepting. We must consider everything and only accept the bad when we have no control over it. Taoism calls for ridding the mind of all knowledge, but we can never"uneat" the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. However, we can try to separate ourselves from our knowledge - stand outside part of our knowledge to view it without barriers.

8. "Some help others in order to receive blessings and admiration. This is simply meaningless. Some cultivate themselves in part to serve others, in part to serve their own pride. They will understand, at best, half of the truth. But those who improve themselves for the sake of the world - to these, the whole truth of the universe will be revealed."

9. When the motivation behind self-improvement is benefiting others, not the self, enlightenment occurs. The best choice in life benefits yourself and others in equal amounts.

10. "Do not go about worshiping deities and religious institutions as the source of the subtle truth. To do so is to place intermediaries between yourself and the divine, and to make of yourself a beggar who looks outside for a treasure that is hidden inside his own breast. If you want to worship the Tao, first discover it in your own heart. Then your worship will be meaningful."

11. To know God you must first know yourself. Progress in life begins with knowledge, and knowledge of the self is most important. Answering the question of how best you learn and what your inner gifts are is the first step to knowing yourself. Society, religion, government, friends, family - no one can truly bring out your Inner Light except you.

12. "When the best leader's work is done the people say, 'We did it ourselves.'"

13. Indeed a government must take no credit for its results - that belongs to the people. Yet Lao-Tzu goes on to declare a nearly non-existent government is ideal. Taoism runs to an extreme in matters of government. On one extreme a socialist government controlling all affairs of life is unbearable, and on the other extreme a nearly non-existent government allowing human desires to run rampant is just as unbearable. When events allow a government to progress (economic upturn, peace, social rest)its role is to achieve a beneficial goal to society which is impossible or improbable for any individual, group, or company to achieve.

14. "Favor and disgrace would seem equally to be feared; honor and great calamity, to be regarded as personal conditions. What is meant by speaking thus of favor and disgrace? Disgrace is being in a low position(after the enjoyment of favor). The getting that favor leads to the apprehension of losing it, and the losing it leads to the fear of still greater calamity: - this is what is meant by saying that favor and disgrace would seem equally to be feared. . ."

15. One can achieve favor or disgrace without bad trappings. Strip away notions of favor and disgrace from others, and concentrate on how you view yourself. Using others as a measuring stick against you leads to unhealthy thoughts. In this Information Age we view millions of skills and talents in our lifetime, compared to merely thousands viewed by the last generation. People feel compelled to compare themselves to the best qualities of others. The unwise see the best humor in another, not the abusiveness; see the wealth in another, not the depression; see popularity in another, not loneliness; see physical beauty in another, not the . Transposing the best of everyone onto yourself is meaningless, then you ceaseto exist as an individual - you are a conglomeration of others. Favor and disgrace from the self is healthy. Paying heed to favor and disgrace from others in unhealthy. Achieve true favor by being a better person today than you were yesterday. The meaning of "better person" is doing good for yourself and others in equal amounts.

16. "Nothing in the realm of thoughts or ideologies is absolute. Lean on one for long, and it collapses. Because of this, there is nothing more futile and frustrating than relying on the mind. To arrive at the unshakable, you must befriend the Tao. To do this, quiet your thinking. Stop analyzing, dividing, making distinctions between one thing and another. Simply see that you are at the center of the universe, and accept all things and beings as part of your infinite body. When you perceive that an act done to another is done to yourself, you have understood the great truth."

17. Knowledge is only a beginning for greater things. A period of rest is essential, and in the Western world we call this the 'Sabbath'. In Taoism 'wuwei' or 'do nothing' brings one into harmony with the Tao. The Golden Rule is somewhat paraphrased in the above passage, '. . an act done to another is done to yourself.'

18. "Thinking and talking about the Integral Way. . . are not the same as practicing it. Who ever became a good rider by talking about horses?"

19. Think of people who are all direction with no movement. They plan but never act. Think of those who move with no direction. They're animated without a cause.

20. "Those who want to know the truth of the universe should practice the four cardinal virtues. The first is reverence for all life;this manifests as unconditional love and respect for oneself and all other beings. The second is natural sincerity; this manifests as honesty, simplicity, and faithfulness. This third is gentleness; this manifests as kindness, consideration for others, and sensitivity to spiritual truth. The fourth is supportiveness; this manifests as service to others without expectation of reward. The four virtues are not an external dogma but apart of your original nature. When practiced, they give birth to wisdom and evoke the five blessings: health, wealth, happiness, longevity, and peace."

21. This core of Taoism is the very least one should take from it. Universal, natural virtues listed in the Taoist core are sparks which ignite the Divine Light within us.

22. "Do you think you can clear your mind by sitting constantly in silent meditation? This makes your mind narrow, not clear,. Integral awareness is fluid and adaptable, present in all places and at all times. . . Who can attain clarity and simplicity by avoiding the world?"

23. Strike a balance between isolating and socializing; because both are healthy but have diminishing returns after a certain time.

24. "Although most people spend their entire lives following this biological impulse violence), it is only a tiny portion of our beings as well. If we remain obsessed with seeds and eggs, we are married to the fertile reproductive valley of the Mysterious Mother but not to her immeasurable heart and all-knowing mind. . .The first integration of yin and yang is the union of seed and egg within the womb. The second integration of yin and yang is the dual union of the mature male and female. Both of these are concerned with flesh and , and all that is conceived in this realm must one day disintegrate and pass away. It is only the third integration which gives birth to something immortal. In this integration a highly evolved individual joins the subtle inner energies of yin and yang, under the light of spiritual understanding. Through the practice of the . . . Integral Way.. . he refines his gross, heavy energy into something ethereal and light. This Divine Light has the capability of penetrating into the mighty ocean of spiritual energy and complete wisdom that is the Tao."

25. Many people, especially in the Western world, claim Taoism primarily for its knowledge of duality. Clearly, is only a small part of Taoism and is short-lived. True Taoists use dual energy as a small part of fueling spiritual evolution. The dual side of Taoism is 'concerned with flesh and'. If you rise in power through duality, then you fall in power through duality. Those who place special emphasis on dual aspects of Taoism are not true Taoists. is a process inherent in nature. Learning and practicing it will at best place one on the same level as animals.

26. "In the kingdom the multiplication of prohibitive enactments increases the poverty of the people; the more implements to add to their profit that the people have, the greater disorder is there in the state and clan; the more acts of crafty dexterity that men possess, the more so strange contrivances appear; the more display there is of legislation, the more thieves and robbers there are."

27. A balance between conservative and liberals laws is needed in all governments. Most government legislation should have a predetermined lifespan, else democracies and republics slowly shift to socialist states as more prohibitive laws are set forth and compound.

28. "Man takes his law from the Earth; the Earth takes its law from Heaven; Heaven takes its law from the Tao. The law of the Tao is its being what it is."

29. The Tao is higher than Heaven. The Tao (the underlying order of all things) is the Divine Light the Inconceivable One, Pisitis, gives off (see Chapter 1). The way to Pistis/Sophia (Tao) is through Sabaoth, the true God.

30. The Three Jewels of the Tao are compassion, moderation, and humility.

31. The following contains a few proverbs of Lao-Tzu and Taoism:

32. "Life and are one thread, the same line viewed from different sides."

33. "Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart, and the senses."

34. "Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished."

35. One can not reflect in streaming water. Only those who know internal peace can give it to others."

36. "If you do not change your direction, you may end up where you are heading."

37. "Health is the greatest possession. Contentment is the greatest treasure. Confidence is the greatest friend. Non-being is the greatest joy."

38. "He who conquers others is strong. He who conquers himself is mighty."

39. "A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: 'We did it ourselves.'"

40. "Born to be wild - live to outgrow it."

41. "Fill your bowl to the brim, and it will spill. Keep sharpening your knife, and it will blunt."

42. "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be."

43. "To see things in the seed, that is genius."

44. Violence, even well intended, always rebounds upon oneself."

45. "To lead people walk behind them."

Our Spiritual Declaration: Message to Atheists

When science explains a phenomena some are quick to claim a religious belief has been disproven. Realize if humans can explain HOW an unusual event happened its relation with God isn't negated. The explaination merely shows us how God made such a thing occur.

The most debated topic is Creationism. Of course the Earth is older than 6,000 years or even a million years. Observe how for the Hindu creator, Brahma, one day and night equals 8.6 billion years. And we understand the faster an object travels the slower time progresses for said object when compared to stationary objects. So you see how time for a being with knowledge constantly spaning the universe could pass at a different rate.

Read in Genesis that on the first day God allowed light to the Earth's surface, which occured approximately 4.5 billion years ago. Genesis mentions the Earth was formless, as Earth's core was degassing and ever-changing. On the second day, God separated the water from the atmosphere, occurring around 4 billion years ago. On the third day, dry land appeared, then plants, around 530 million years ago. On the fourth day, the stars, sun, moon, and other celestial objects could be seen - a clear sky more familiar to us. This was essential for seasons, calendars, and fixed objects in space (heavens). The presence of oxygen was needed for human life to develop. Shifting of the continents would play an important role when considering constellations for navigation, and this took place around 200 million years ago. On the fifth day, the living creatures, the ancestors to current life, were created in the sea and land. Genesis mentions the creation of birds as well. This occured 65 million years ago. Finally, on the sixth day, man was created as Adam – which has a two-fold meaning. 200,000 years ago modern humans began to develop (see Chapter 3).

Many believe Eden means 'walled garden', and some interpret this as Eden being located in a volcano. However, this was a subtle way of telling us about cavemen. Ignorance is bliss, and as long as humans remained in caves and nomadic we were doomed to live in this blissful ignorance (paradise). The "walled garden" relates to caves of cavemen who ate the apple and sustained themselves. Eating the apple is symbolic of humans learning how to live off the land, therefore being able to settle in one area. Now humans had time to ponder philosophy and eventually develop a civilization. The serpent being made to crawl on the ground and be crushed by humans is symbolic of dinosaurs evolving into the creatures of today (they lost size and mobility). Humans realized animals could live off the land so why not humans themselves? This is how the serpent told Eve to eat the apple.

The reason God (or knowledgeable huamns) related the history of creation and evolution to man in the manner He did in Genesis is because when communicating you must consider the audience. God was relating Genesis to a very simple people. To tell the outright truth would have confused humans entirely, and they wouldn't believe it. Now humans yearn for the truth. Too much fighting and suffering has taken place over the book of Genesis, fighting which was never meant to be.

Remember, science is only the beginning, and faith is the end. The two complement each other, connect together, and find complete understanding in the middle. You don't need to believe in a manifested, physical God. Just believe in an underlying logic and pattern in the universe. At least then you will be on the beginning to the path of humanity. To believe humans are the most advanced beings in existence is arrogant. Many atheists suffer from the same bad trappings as the religious extremists do – they focus too much on the messenger and not enough on the message. To do so destroys the point of religion and spirituality – to offer guidance in life – not to prove or disprove the existence of God.

If there were no God, as God being defined as the underlying workings of all existence, then we would cease to exist. So no matter how limited and basic and how barely our existence came to be – whether the universe is completely perfect or barely organized – there is an underlying logic and pattern to it. The notion that this underlying logic is merely subjective and all exists in the minds of man alone . . . is the apex of human arrogance.

To ask if this God deserves worship, first deserves the question of how does one define worship. The best form of worship is to emulate the object of worship. So God being that which brings order to chaos, that would be the best way to worship God, to bring order to chaos, which should always be the goal of religion.

If God is the underlying workings of the universe and man can understand those workings and even manipulate them, then isn't man superior to God is some aspect? This idea also shows great arrogance. Remember that science and knowledge are only beginnings and always leave more questions than answers. When we become prideful and content with our knowledge we fall behind. The clock of knowledge only started several thousand years ago and has only ticked a few times when it's destined to tick thousands of times. Remember one of the most important lessons of Socrates, "I am the wisest man alive, for I know one thing, and that is that I know nothing."

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
Think of it like this.
Nomadic hunters wander, and survival takes up all waking hours. Once farming was invented, humans had free time. This allowed for more intellectual pursuits. It gave KNOWLEDGE to humanity. Before eating the apple (before farming), Adam & Eve were blissfully ignorant. After eating the apple (farming was invented) they gained knowledge. It's just retelling a story of events. It's odd ppl take it as literal. This story was a case of "this is sorta, kinda what happened" from Hebrews.

Oh brother! I don't think it was an apple!

oh i absolutely agree with what you just said..and i din not express myself well since u misunderstood about the dna thing..oh by no means i was saying that mine or anybody else's is perfect or even good...what i meant was that while in this form , this body , all is bound by laws...everything around us is ...so while in this illusionary world, this trap that all of us , the inter dimensional aliens as well are entangled in this dance, all i see and sense are the most diabolical levels of deception...i was asking about Darkness vs The light source..where would this so called light luciferian group complex reside in? because while the explanation makes the most sense (the one he gave us) , how does he even know if he/them , as well as us are not being deceived by the same holographic /virtual reality we are trapped in...the whole Karma idea, the idea that these so called light beings had to suffer for so long -and be bad---against their very nature is one way to wonder ...and second after such a horrific ordeal, now they would have to go and "purify " this inherited Karmic junk while playing and pretending to be the DEvil on this planet...he karma operating in the astral world forces "souls" to reincarnate. The astral inhabitants are programmed to think that they have the choice of selecting their own parents, place, time and culture of birth. This is in appearance only. In truth, they are programmed to think that all is planned for the highest good of the "soul". What a big lie! and it is being sold to us as well...so is Karma the devil? no but the next level, plane , dimension, sure might be a terrible much worse virtual reality then this one, could u imagine?? thats why i was talking about the intelligent design behind it...i for one have been trapped and knowingly so in my dream world..i only become aware of it when i fly and hit a brick invisible wall sort of, and i cannot go beyond its bounds..it is that discovery which led me to believe that all this is a very well Krafted illusion , multiple universes ultimately being held tight under one ruler: DARKNESS ..the polarity is not the fem and masculine it is the dance and hopefully this time the true separation from darkness and Light...oh we are so so trapped into the false light, i have sensed it long ago but it is so gripping..imagine in the ether world, spirit world if u will..inter-dimensional beings , and all the dif aliens...no concept of the divine except this beautiful yet tainted notion of the creator;s "chosen to be forgotten " game of life we all dance in between..that yes it took a lot of planning , or very intelligent design....Since the consciousnesses of human beings are trapped in this Virtual Reality, the ones who have dropped their physical bodies will reside in the various levels or dimensions of the astral world, which had to be created by darkness/evil..the light emanates it doesnt trap..we feel being pulled by it, and darkness im sure sees it...hence this false light is thrown our way and when we go beyond it we will find ourselves with a whole set of new problems and ultimately "karmic debts" that we dont OWE to anybody..A TRUE LIGHT CREATOR DOES NOT BIND U IN A CONTRACT AND PUSHES A DEBT ON YOU...OR BLAMES YOU FOR YOUR ORIGINAL DESIGN TO PUSH THE DECEPTION EVEN FURTHER...these universes that our physical and astral world are being actually trapped themselves is the illusion and the biggest LIE
The astral world is a "place" where beings reside when they are not in the physical. The physical world is a "place" where the same type of beings reside when they are not in the astral it would be a complex place full of subtle entrapments just like the situation here in this physical world. In one sense it is far more deceptive than the physical dimension.
why do we need to learn so many damn lessons and go through these NUmbered levels and dimensions, all held in place by these tight rules..if we are of the light then go to the light,,and i do not mean vaporize into the electric light like a kamikaze silly moth.. god no wonder the transhumanism and this agenda has been allowed and will be perpetuated for god knows how long..imagine the mutations, the lost mechanical consciousness of whatever is left in those de fragmented souls.anyway what i was trying to tell people is to ONLY trust in the deeper part of their own soul...the DNA for now is our organic database and the info could be accessed through a Light formula of the right elements..before they start mutating with this insectbiocomputer organism life form which is taken over our only anchor to this knowledge..because its very role is to destroy and reform its structure..anyway does he truly think they are of the light? i doubt it..and his deception seems greater then mine , ....there should be no levels , no numbers within the divine true complex, i just know that..no more of this SLAVERY bs, bec are we not just that??? break away from these false universes and this Karmic illusion and go outside the level system..out not in..back into 2dimensional perhaps and out..escape the regime that rules, controls and CONFUSES all of us..just a thought

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
Born to be wild, live to outgrow it.
Learning from the mistakes of others doesn't compare to learning for one's self. It's one of those "must do it yourself" deals. Like dancing - ppl don't learn how to dance from reading about it. I never told him to waste his life and ignore school. Once school is over that's when it's time to stop childish ways.
The options are
1. Make mistakes while young and have little to no real responsibilities.
2. Make mistakes while an adult and it affects a marriage, one's kids, owning a home, car, everything.
3. Never make mistakes in life.

#3 may have worked for you, but it's uncommon. Ppl need to learn what mistakes to make and not make. I'm not talking about merely "getting into trouble" such as breaking the law but childhood is when it's best to learn about relationships and that side of life.

My town is a perfect example. It's extremely conservative. Proms have always been outlawed in my town because of "premarital dancing leads to premarital sex" as many here say. Anyone under 18 if they merely ride around town are told to go home. This town spent $20,000 to turn flat surfaces into bumpy surfaces to prevent skateboarding, as that sport is seen as "something thugs do". Youth here are repressed. Mistakes aren't allowed for youth. A cousin of mine shot a gun into the air (while alone, he was simply screwing around) at age 15 and was imprisoned for 16 months for the simple act. Ppl in my town make mistakes as adults and try to "relive" a childhood from which they were repressed. This has a resulted in our local mayor and fire dept chief in prison for embezzlement of funds. Our ambulance director may soon go to jail for being a drug addict, and our sheriff has court next month for felony assault.

The Amish get it right. Amish set one year aside for their kids, one year to go out and experience the world w/ all the mistakes that come w/ it. After that year the kids can rejoin their community or continue their new found lifestyle. Alcoholism is rampant in my area. Compare that to liberal areas where youth drinking isn't as taboo. Alcoholism in adults is lower there. Look at ppl overworked as kids, never let a chance to play and make mistakes. Michael Jackson, for popular example, never made mistakes in youth. Always work, work, work w/ him. He never had a childhood and as an adult that was always missing, and he always tried to relive it. I've known many women also who stayed virgins until well into their 20s and never dated. Since they never made mistakes of which boys to stay away from that came back to haunt them. As women they are promiscuous throughout their adult life, like something is missing. Their youthful, fun days are missing. They end up as single mothers throughout life, more interested in getting their own childhood back than raising their kids. I will give you one concession: once ppl start making mistakes in youth, many forget when to STOP making those mistakes.

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
I do agree w/ your quote of fools learn from their mistakes and wise from mistakes of others. However, I hold the notion youth is for foolish times. BUT foolish behavior leads to early pregnancy, and my personal belief is ppl shouldn't have a kid until 30. That one mistake of having sex leading to a baby isn't a mistake one can simple stop the consequences of later in adulthood. It's a life-spanning mistake if the pregnancy was unwanted.

Mistakes while young helps the children of those ppl also. Children often learn from and mimic their parents' behavior. When a child sees an adult parents behave in a certain way, those habits carry over into that child's adult life. If one gets their mistakes "out of the way" in childhood, then their children won't have to be exposed to the adult's bad behavior, since the behavior was carried out before their kid was born. I appreciate your lack of mistakes in childhood. It should serve as an example to others, but examples and wisdom usually falls on deaf ears. This is why I say most ppl must experience mistakes for themselves.

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
If you're wondering what suddenly happened in Egypt - Chinese & Russian elites have interfered w/ Globalist elite plans for the Middle East. Remember I said the Arab Spring was a method for Globalists to install radicalized govs to later attack Israel and start WW3. The Chineses & Russians have started undoing what Globalists did by ousting the radicals in Egypt to install a moderate. Chinese & Russians also prevented plans to install radicalized govs in Syria and Iran. In Syria they used force but w/ Iran a threat was made of a joint Russian/Chinese indirect attack (by supplying nukes and advanced weapons) on any invading forces in Iran, and China threatened economic warfare if Iran was invaded.

Now Globalists will have to make more deals w/ China. I'm not sure what this would be. Previously the concessions came as moving more jobs from America to China. USA has no more jobs w/ which to bargain. China will prob be granted access to natural resources of any invaded land. This was the deal made for Chinese approval of invasion into Afghanistan and Iraq. The major deal China made trillions on was the agreement struck for the fall of Communism in eastern Europe and Soviet Union. China didn't want to see communist rule cut in half across the world but esp didn't want an unstable Soviet Union on their border. The West, esp America, made a deal to move millions of jobs to China in exchange for Chinese to allow Soviet Union's fall. Nobody questioned why China sat back and watched communist nation after nation fall, but that's the reason.

Then why are "elites" passively forcing everyone to kill their lives in the beginning by thinking about sex all the time when you advocate the side of this not being a right way to live your life? How does it help?

Whenever there will be the point when people will learn something new you will do your usual thing of whiping out the intelligence of the country and revriting the history, which will persuade them that they all came from monkeys again and they will degrade even further.

Alcoholism is rampant in my area.
 Quoting: the darkness comes

People drink because of stupidity - because everyone is drinking. Alcoholism occurs because of the dissapointment in life, when people set up false goals in life like (car, house etc..) Also alcoholism occurs due to inability to change anything. Afterwards people stop to trust the person that drinks and he starts to feel it, the source of happiness disappears, since happiness always comes from other people. Desire to drink always come from feeling lonely, that, in turn, occurs from the feeling to "grab it", live for yourself. The person that gives away selfishly - is also lonely. Blame is another reason to start drinking.

It has nothing to do with "being born wild". Noone is born wild. We're constantly surrounded with the information that consists of all of the listed reasons for drinking.

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
Our Spiritual Declaration: Pythagoras

Chapter 20: Pythagoras

1. Pythagoras was born around 570 BC on the Greek island Samos and inspired generations to seek deeper knowledge.

2. Take advice from this quote by Pythagoras, "Do not say a little in many words but a great deal in a few." Take two geniuses - one famous, one not - their only difference: the famous can relate ideas to the brilliant AND the average. Relating to people determines who history remembers.

3. Pythagoras had many followers forming a tightly-knit group of like-minded thinkers named "Pythagoreans". Pythagoreans practiced silence and gender equality, wore moderate clothes, observed strict diets, promoted a sense of brotherhood, and kept many teachings secret. This secrecy, coupled with the fact Pythagoras never wrote anything, is very damning to better knowing him (nothing can be directly credited to Pythagoras). Remember, he who denies you knowledge envisions himself as your master.

4. Pythagoras believed in reincarnation. "Stop! Don't hit him," Pythagoras pleaded to a man beating a puppy, "it is the soul of a man I knew, which I recognized when I heard it yelping." Later the Pythagorean school correctly taught the body was merely a tomb for the soul.

5. Numbers were held in high regard by Pythagoras and his followers, who believed numbers are the force behind all things.

6. Handed down through history, the Golden Verses detail Pythagorean lifestyle. Authorship is questioned (Pythagoras did not write them), but many believe the general notions are conveyed. The following are selected verses with commentary.

7. “. . . accustom thyself to overcome and vanquish these passions: first gluttony, sloth, sensuality, and anger.” Notice the order! Avoid gluttony/extremes in EVERYTHING. Even love?! Pure and true it is, but excess love leads to twisted obsession. A primary sign of life is movement – avoid sloth. Using both mind and body creates heroes and villains; using mind over body or body over mind creates the average, and using neither creates people quickly forgotten. Control lust! Add the time desiring, craving, planning an act that takes up a few moments every day – wasteful. Control how anger is expressed.

8. “But above all things respect thyself.” This verse follows instructions to worship deities, revere heroes, honor spirits, respect parents, and befriend fellow humans. Most importantly – respect YOU. You’re thirteen years old, mother is dead, father beats you senseless, and he justifies abuse with “honor thy father”. Respect YOURSELF enough to be removed from this situation.

9. “Never suffer sleep to close thy eyelids, after thy going to bed / Till thou hast examined by thy reason all thy actions of the day / Wherein have I done amiss? What have I done? What have I omitted that I ought to have done?” Replay and find the good and bad actions of your day before going to sleep. This encourages gradual learning from mistakes.

10. “There are among men many sorts of reasonings, good and bad / Admire them not too easily, nor reject them / But if falsehoods be advanced, hear them with mildness, and arm thyself with patience.” Blind faith and deliberate rejection are the worst actions given to an idea.

11. “Never do anything which thou dost not understand.” Knowledge first! Modern example: Investors give billions of dollars to Bernie Madoff, and their only knowledge of this investment comes in incomprehensible jargon – completely fabricated by Madoff. The result – investors lose over sixty-five billion dollars. Invest money in what you understand. Improve yourself with what you understand. Elect leaders you understand. Follow the path to heaven you understand. Honor people you understand. Know this – everything fails unless you begin with correct knowledge.

Our Spiritual Declaration: Upanishads

Chapter 21: Upanishads

1. The Upanishads are Hinduism's philosophical core.

2. "As a lump of salt thrown in the water dissolves and cannot be taken out again, though wherever we taste the water it is salty, even so, beloved, the separate self dissolves in the sea of pure consciousness, infinite and immortal. Separateness arises from identifying the Self with the body, which is made up of the elements; when this physical identification dissolves, there can be no more separate self." -The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

3. Thinking of the 'self' and body as identical distracts the soul from enlightenment. Ending this mind set is a major step to happiness. The body is merely a foundation for the soul.

4. "The human being has two states of consciousness: one in this world, the other in the next. But there is a third state between them, not unlike the world of dreams, in which we are aware of both worlds, with their sorrows and joys. When a person dies, it is only the physical body that dies; that person lives on in a nonphysical body, which carries the impressions of his past life. It is these impressions that determine his next life. In this intermediate state he makes and dissolves impressions by the light of the Self." -The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

5. We simultaneously exist in this world and the afterlife. After the physical body dies, we meet the other 'self', formed by our thoughts and actions performed on Earth.

6. "Those who realize the Self enter into the peace that brings complete self-control and perfect patience. They see themselves in everyone and everyone in themselves. Evil cannot overcome them because they overcome all evil. Sin cannot consume them because they consume all sin and doubt; they live in the kingdom of Brahman."

7. Mastering our passions and senses leads to enlightenment. Do you grow weary of war, genocide, blind , religious and political in-fighting? End it all by knowing yourself and seeing yourself in others through helping them.

8. "In the secret cave of the heart, two are seated by life's fountain. The separate ego drinks of the sweet and bitter stuff, liking the sweet, disliking the bitter, while the supreme Self drinks sweet and bitter neither liking this nor disliking that. The ego gropes in darkness, while the Self lives in light. . . Know the Self as lord of the chariot, the body as the chariot itself, the discriminating intellect as the charioteer, and the mind as the reins. The senses, say the wise, are the horses; selfish desires are the roads they travel. When the Self is confused with the body, mind, and senses, they point out, he seems to enjoy pleasure and suffer sorrow. When one lacks discrimination and his mind is undisciplined, the senses run hither and thither like wild horses. But they obey the rein like trained horses when one has discrimination and has made the mind one-pointed." -Katha Upanishad

9. This beautiful verse explains the body is like a chariot; intellect the charioteer; mind, the reins; senses, the horses. Lacking intelligence, the horses (senses) run wild and down the easiest path - the beaten path took by many. We know them - distracted by , themselves, , money, power. Focus and discipline will take the body wherever we desire.

10. "The rituals and sacrifices described in the Vedas deal with lower knowledge. The sages ignored these rituals and went in search of higher knowledge. . . Such rituals are unsafe rafts for crossing the sea of samsara, of birth and . Doomed to shipwreck are those who try to cross the sea of samsara on these poor rafts. . . But those who are pure in heart, who practice meditation, and conquer their senses and passions, shall attain the immortal Self." -Mundaka Upanishad

11. Rituals and sacrifices mean nothing to the true God. Would God desire material things while millions starve across the world?

12. "The Lord is enshrined in the hearts of all. The Lord is the supreme Reality. Rejoice in Him through renunciation. Covet nothing. All belongs to the Lord. . . Those who deny the Self are born again blind to the Self, enveloped in darkness. . . Those who see all creatures in themselves and themselves in all creatures know no fear. . . In dark night live those for whom the world without alone is real; in night darker still, for whom the world within alone is real. The first leads to a life of action, the second to a life of meditation. But those who combine action with meditation cross the sea of through action and enter into immortality through the practice of meditation." -Isha Upanishad

13. Some see the world as empty and attempt to fill it with blind actions. Others feel empty within and fill the life with 'soul-searching'. Only through direction THEN movement can a balance be found. Movement without direction and one goes in circles. Direction without movement leads to no progress toward a goal, always watching a dream but never moving closer.

Our Spiritual Declaration: Buddha and Buddhism

Chapter 22: Buddha and Buddhism

1. Buddha was born Siddhartha Gautama around 563 BC. "Buddha" is a title later given to him meaning "The Awakened One" or "The Enlightened One".

2. Buddha was born to a wealthy family in the town Lumbini, located in the kingdom of Kapilavastu (modern-day Nepal). Many believed Buddha would mature into a great king or religious leader. Being a king himself, Buddha's father wanted his son to inherit the throne, and Buddha was shielded from religion to lead a rich, worldly life.

3. At age twenty-nine Buddha realized wealth wasn't the path to the enlightenment he sought, and the young prince journeyed outside his castle. The king unsuccessfully attempted to remove the suffering citizens from his son's view; however Buddha meet an old man, a diseased man, a corpse, and an ascetic (one who denies himself worldly things).

4. Well-educated, wealthy, groomed for royalty, and being a prince, Buddha experienced four of the six steps on the Path of Humanity (knowledge, wealth, self-improvement, authority). Buddha left his luxurious life to walk the last steps, religion and society, in what Buddhists celebrate as the "Great Renunciation".

5. Buddha fled his palace to lead an ascetic life. He was taught meditation by a hermit, rejected all material possessions, fasted, and practiced self-torture.

6. Eventually, Buddha rejected extremes for a "middle way". He sat beneath a Bodhi tree (pipal tree) and swore not to leave it until achieving enlightenment. After forty-nine days of meditation, Buddha discovered his Divine Light.

The Four Noble Truths
7. The Four Noble Truths are concepts Buddha found permeate all life.

8. The first truth is everyone suffers. All in life will suffer mentally and physically. We must accept this truth in order to solve it.

9. The second truth is the cause of suffering is craving and ignorance. Necessities of life we must crave to survive, but beyond this we desire things which bring us suffering. Ignorance prevents us from knowing what is good and bad - what will cause suffering. Believing is an end also causes suffering.

10. The third truth is to end suffering we must eliminate craving and ignorance. The state of being where suffering ends is "Nirvana". Achieving Nirvana is Buddhism's goal.

11. The fourth truth is the path to end suffering, the Noble Eightfold Path. Going the "Middle Way", avoiding extremes, is part of this truth.

The Noble Eightfold Path
12. The first step of the Eightfold Path is the "right view". To view the world correctly, bear in mind the Golden Rule: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." Realize free will is a natural right, but avoid situations where free will interferes with another's ability to exercise that right. Remember the best action equally benefits yourself and others.

13. The second step is "right thought". Views give birth to thoughts; therefore wrong views lead to wrong thoughts. Knowledge and wisdom are needed for proper thoughts.

14. The third step is "right speech". Practicing right speech means to avoid lying, slander, harsh words, and useless speech.

15. Lying is communicating what we believe is untrue. Attempts to maneuver around the truth are thwarted by asking one to "tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth", as in an American court. This statement reveals the spirit of truth. "Tell the truth" is self-explanatory. "The whole truth" means to not withhold any relevant, truthful information. Withholding information isn't technically lying, but it violates the spirit of truth. "Nothing but the truth" restrains one from mixing false information with the truth.

16. Slander is injuring another's reputation by untrue, spoken words. This creates division in all things. "Where no wood is, there the fire goes out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceases." -Proverbs 26:20 We're usually angry with a person's actions - not the person. Slander rarely resolves a wrong committed.

17. Harsh words are used to create sin: % talk), wrath (fighting words), pride (self-praise), gluttony (excessive words), sloth (procrastination), covetousness (talking about things we desire), and envy (words spoken in jealousy). These words keep us suspended in suffering.

18. Useless speech or "small talk" is part of society and can't be avoided. However, excessive useless speech can be avoiding by remembering, "Ignorant people talk about other people. Average people talk about places, times, and events. Wise people talk about ideas."

19. The fourth step is "right conduct", which comes naturally if our actions mirror proper views, thoughts, and speech.

20. The fifth step is "right livelihood", a job beneficial to society. Trading , alcohol, animals for slaughter, arms, slaves, and poisons is forbidden in Buddhism.

21. The sixth step is "right effort". This means preventing, suppressing, and rejecting detrimental thoughts while encouraging and maintaining productive thoughts.

22. The seventh step is "right mindfulness". We must become aware of our thoughts and actions, separate ourselves from them, and analyze how others would view them.

23. The eighth step is "right concentration" - complete focus on one thing at a time.

Rebirth
24. Karma is a major component of Buddhism. Karma is the cycle of actions and the end results. Buddha explains if a bad action fails to produce suffering, the unwise consider the action good, but if it produces suffering the action is seen as evil. Good actions, resulting in no happiness, the unwise see as evil, and only when happiness is produced will the act be seen as a kind deed. Using the imagination to see long-term effects is essential.

25. Three doors unwholesome actions enter through are the body, voice, and mind.

26. Unwholesome actions of the body are , stealing, and sexual misconduct.

27. Unwholesome actions of the voice are lying, harsh speech, slander, and gossip.

28. Unwholesome actions of the mind are greed, anger, and delusion.

29. The heavier our karma (wrongs committed in life) the deeper our souls drop in the spiritual realm, and this determines how we'll be reborn. For example, thieves in this life may be reborn as hungry ghosts.

30. Determining the weight of our karma: repetition and persistence of bad deeds, willful intention, absence of regret, quality and indebtedness. Repetition applies to how often the deed was committed and persistence to how zealous we were in committing the deed. Willful intention takes into account if the action was premeditated, without premeditation, or al. Absence of regret reveals the fortitude of our conscious after performing the act. Quality and indebtedness applies to the victim of the act: mother, teacher, minister, animal, yourself, person killed in self-defense. Karma affects us in this life and the next.

31. Neutral karma occurs when elements of good and bad are missing, for example, you accidentally step on an ant.

32. After rebirth we find ourselves in one of many places. In eight hot hells and eight cold hells, the worst karma is tortured and exhausted until its end. Eternal damnation doesn't exist in Buddhism.

33. Higher than hell is the realm of hungry ghosts who suffer hunger, thirst, heat, and cold. So sensitive are the ghosts, the moon scorches in the summer, and the sun brings no comfort in winter. Attachment and obsession with material objects causes souls to be reborn as hungry ghosts.

34. Above hungry ghosts is the realm of animals, which lead miserable lives compared to humans. Causing this rebirth is preoccupation with animalistic desires (sloth, wrath, . . .)

35. The human realm is next where both happiness and suffering exist, and we can practice the Dharma (rules of religion). It's extremely rare to be reborn a human therefore necessary not to squander life.

36. Higher than humans is the realm of demigods or angels who have more intelligence and pleasure in life. Generosity causes us to be reborn as demigods; however a life of jealousy and envy results in being reborn a demigod who fights in vain against gods.

37. The highest realm is gods who have the most intelligence and pleasure in life. After a time the gods are reborn and sink to a lower realm due to pride.

38. The human realm is the only place the cycle of rebirth can be broken by practicing the Dharma, where free will can be exercised, and where we have knowledge of good and evil.

39. Humans have afflictions of ignorance, craving, and clinging - leading to volition and becoming which leads to suffering of consciousness, form, the senses, contact, birth, old age, and . Actions of past lives lead to habits which come natural to us in this life.

40. In going the Middle Way, Buddha teaches us to avoid excessive sin, resulting in rebirth in a lower realm. Don't strive for rebirth in a higher realm; because the loss of that realm causes the greatest suffering. Performing good deeds simply to gain entrance into Heaven isn't the correct path.

Three Characteristics
41. The first characteristic of existence is our temporary state. Existence in this life is short, ever-changing, and realizing this we must rush to achieve enlightenment.

42. The second characteristic is suffering.

43. The third characteristic is negating the 'self'. Outside personality, intelligence, body, and spirit, the 'self' does not exist.

Five Aggregates
44. The five aggregates are form, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness. First we encounter an object - a 'form'. Then we have 'feelings' about the object. Next, we have a 'perception' through feelings and act toward the object. Then we categorize the object, an act called 'volition'. Finally, we whirl around emotions and thoughts about the object, until this whirling feels real and solid - which is called 'consciousness'.

Enlightened Ones
45. Of those who found their inner Divine Light, arise four categories: Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats.

46. Perfectly enlightened ones are called Buddhas. Some believe Buddhas are projections, sent from God to teach us, like Siddhartha Gautama. In Islam Jesus wasn't physically crucified; rather God made it appear so, and three days later Jesus returned to conclude his teachings. Humans can't dictate the course of a Buddha's teachings. "That they said (in boast), 'We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah' - but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not - nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise." -Koran 4:157-158 Churches overly focus on Jesus' resurrection, neglecting his teachings. "An evil and erroneous generation seeks after a sign, and no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. 'For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'" Matthew 12:38:-40 Jesus warns against those who seek merely a physical miracle. Many churches proclaim the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus is central to faith, and by diminishing these events brings injury to the wisdom of Jesus - claiming so is a lack of faith! Remember the beast of Revelation, "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to ; and his ly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast."-Rev 13:3 How many will go astray? Perfect Buddhas (teachers) are projections sent from God to enlighten.

47. Bodhisattvas enlighten themselves yet forgo ending reincarnation to enlighten others.

48. Arhats are enlightened, never to be reborn.

49. Pratyekabuddhas become hermits of society to achieve enlightenment.

50. "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." -Buddha

51. To begin meditating put a cushion on the floor, sit on the edge of it, place your left ankle on the right thigh and right ankle on the left thigh, straighten your back, hands on your lap with the left hand on bottom, concentrate on the tip of your nose, and focus on your breath going in and out.

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
Why don't you keep letting muslims rape your sisters, Queer bait. Take the knowledge for what it is. No one is forcing your here.

This OP left the building long ago. Which means the thread is dead. And the OP most certainly was fake. I mean, who of the elite controlling this world would ever make threads? For what reason? If in control, why bother intervene?

As for the subject of the thread. Way back since he/she responded. So, move along, this subject is dead.

Re: Elite Family Insider Returns for Q&A
Because elites like to make money. Given the choice b/t wholesome Brady Bunch & Little House on the Prairie or something filled w/ sex & violence, the unwholesome entertainment makes more money. That's human's animal nature. Sex, drugs, that side of life is a control lever for society. They are methods to keep ppl distracted. This doesn't mean it's a correct way to live, but they're simply control mechanisms.

I've been reading this thread for over two years. It has really changed my outlook on many different things and opened my mind quite a bit. Especially about God. I always had a hard time with a God that does so many senseless things, with petty human emotions like jealousy and anger. The Yaldaboath, Sabaoth, Pistis/Sophia information really helped me understand. Keep up the good work!
