Let's Text Anthrax Vaccine in children to see if it works - WTH???

Apparently the gaping yaw of Emergent Biosolutions was not satisfied. Emergent's courtiers in Washington decided only one thing could appease it: the sacrifice of virgins on the anthrax vaccine altar.

Children would have to receive anthrax vaccine inoculations to "prove" the vaccine's "safety". Then children could receive it, were the government to declare an emergency. At present, the vaccine has never been tested in children, and it is not approved for them.

Nicole Lurie, the assistant secretary for preparedness and response at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, recently asked the National Biodefense Science Board to investigate the safety concerns of collecting data on the effects of the anthrax vaccine absorbed vaccine in children.
