George Washington's mother instilled in him the conviction that:

To fear was to lack faith in God.

For if you believed in God, and believed in his protection, then you should never need to fear. Even in a worst case of physical death, you would gain immortality.

I know that's not for everyone, but it's a pretty powerful fear crusher if you stop to think about it, and it need not necessarily be dependent upon believing in a particular god or religion, although the faith she instilled in him was based upon the "Christian" God, but basically any spirituality that recognizes that a higher power exists, is benign and that physical 'death' is not the end of life.

here is another solution to fear don't watch the media, the news, or listen to all the bs the government feeds you that is how they control you fear.. IS IT IN YOU

right, the main line media fuels the fear.. no denying it.

I myself ussually keep away from the news and stuff, but just because you ignore it, does not mean it is not taking place. Millions of people are still being oppressed in so many different places.

Fear is real

It has been constructed since beginning of time from people who are greedy and want power.

Do you think the universe has fear? Absolutely not.

It is people who have fear.

remove the fear, be one as the universe.

I've always thought that same thing about worry - to worry was to acknowledge your lack of faith in God.

And I do believe that - even though I am not a Christian.
It helps that I had a 'near-death' experience and have not a shred of fear of death. And absolute faith in how loved I am. And absolute knowledge that our job here on earth is to help our fellow man.
