Dialectical skepticism: Why in the world would they deliberately kill bin Laden if unnecessary?
Gov't/military officials would never deliberately kill him if they are being honest about him and their own intent, as it would only make him a martyr, incite anger, violent retribution, abet evangelization of militant Islamic extremism, and undermine their "war on terror."

If this is a war we are fighting, and make no mistake about it,this war against terror is a war, but fundamentally the fight is against an idea, therefore tactics and strategies are formulated and scrutinized before implementation by very capable tanks filled with able bodied minds.

These unfortunate consequences are seemingly inevitable effects, but they were certainly foreseeable. Did they not foresee this simple truth, do they not care about well thought out strategy in a war costing tax payers trillions of dollars, causing much unnecessary suffering, as well as that priceless and invaluable sacrifice-Human Life, or are their intentions not necessarily as they seem?

think about it

think about this...if they took him alive and
tried his ass and then executed him than he would
be a savior to every retarded terrorist in the world.

how does a thread like this just disappear out of view so quickly? Are these questions which I pose not simple, relevant and reasonable?

There isn't anyone who disagrees? No interesting thoughts or perspectives to share on the matter?

quick call the guiness book of world records and have them check this thread out. It free-falls faster than the mean terminal velocity of the other threads! Simply incredible!

OP this is just a game. Learn the reason behind this so called OBL death and what the date means. May 1 is a well known date to the Elite. You may know all of this already but just wanted to throw that out.

Republicans would have turned the whole thing into a political circus over what to do with him, where to keep him, etc.. Of course, they'd be on Fox news screaming that they should have just killed him.

i don't think they wanted to put the guy they killed on trial for a reason, his last words were,'I'm not the me' which sounds pretty weird from a pretty educated guy, which OBL was.

Bin Laden was killed in 2002...in BORA BORA.
Hence why you will NEVER see photos....or actual DNA evidence....or even fingerprints.

This was PURELY POLITICAL IN AN ATTEMPT TO SAVE OBAMA'S ASS FOR 2012.
They killed SOMEONE....but it wasn't BIN LADEN.

Lets say that Bin Laden was taken alive.

How certain are we that Western Tourists from some mundane nation in the region are taken off the street and suddenly we are watching one beheading a day with the demand to release bin Laden?

How many beheadings would it take before public opinion forces the hand of the government to give up Bin Laden?

1? 2? 5? 10? 25?....

How easy is it for the extremists to snatch and grab innocent people to make a point? We know that they will behead a person, video tape it and send the video tape to the media.

Make certain Bin Laden is dead, also dump the body (officially, frankly I think its in a freezer somewhere) this way holding hostages for Bin Laden (dead or alive) won't happen.

Retaliate? Yeah sure, but they will retaliate if he is alive, dead, at sea - whatever. We can't bring back the dead and we can't find a body 'lost' at sea, thus we know that these two options will not happen.
