The history books are written by MEN. And in them, women are always happy with their lot as slaves. The history books somehow forgot to include things like women being forced to be married or become prostitutes. They forget to include the Baby Scoop Era and all of the tragic and horrific abuses in places like the Catholic "Maternity homes".

They want you to believe that, when women were subjugated and property, no unwed pregnancies happen. They don't bother to tell you that they did happen, people just sent their pregnant daughters to "maternity homes" to have their babies stolen and their genital mutilated.
