I wasn't the guy who posted the thread you're talking about.
I've been studying hairloss for many years, and the most common denominator seemed to be DHT. DHT seems to be linked to sex drive in men, as well as erections. So, I realized that if I gave up sex/masturbating, then my sex drive would naturally decrease along with DHT levels. I put it to the test and discovered that it works. I think the younger you are, the higher the chance of you growing your hair back. But I don't know that for sure. I'm 32, and all I know is, my hairline is producing more hairs all the time. Hopefully it will soon be completely restored. I can't put an exact time limit on when that will be.

It is a rather important issue, guys say they'd rather go bald than stop wanking, so I'm sure there has been some research. So far, I haven't seen any corroboration of this hypothesis which has been around, but as it would seem predominatly on herbal supplements sites.
