Department of Homeland Security going into underground storage facility.

The art museum of Chicago keeps storage at an old nuclear bomb shelter in northwest Illinois. I happened across it reading meters about 10 years ago. I only ever found one other underground facility reading meters, and that was somewhere near the Illinois/Wisconsin border. The entrance looked like one of the buildings Luke Skywalker grew up in. The owner had even built a guard shack next to a cattle fence, complete with a fake security guard and a CCTV camera. The owner probably had a hundred acres of land, and there were barns on the property (with more cameras), but no visible house. Kind of creeped me out really.

I up loaded the larges size and they came out small.

i could be very wrong but i dont think this is what it seems to be. My father ( im 33 so no im not 12 ) has told me for years that he has delivered into these cave complexes from the one shown here and liberty mo.He said he stared taking old 45 and 78 vinyl records out of there( evedently it was used as storage) and hualed in and out for years mostly dry storable stuff....paper cd's vcr tapes wooden pallets and all kinds of stuff...........dunno if it helps but thats my small contribution:)

I have always delivered/loaded frozen or near frozen good out of these caves.

But I drag around a refer trailer that could be the difference in the products hauled.

If I had a cell phone witha camera back then I would have. I think I can remember where the bomb shelter was, but I can't for the life of me remember where the other one was. The weird thing, was that the property entrance was right in a subdivision, and his acreage spanned the length of the subdivision on the north side. The neighbor told me that he was some sort of "survival nut". I didn't tell him that I was too, hehe.

You have to figure when TSHTF you will eat what is available and if this place is locked down the food that is stored down there will not be given to you and I that is certain.

Well, you know where it is and what it is, so I would keep a beady eye out op, god knows how fucked up these people are about keeping secrets. Just saying.

These are all commercial caves and I have never seen so much as one cop at these facilitys and now Homeland Security

I for one find these kind of things extremely disturbing (vaulting treasures and bunker building etc.)

So many commentators regard them as something 'routine,' or just 'precautionary.'
