No one is proposing that children should be punished for their parents' crimes.

Let's say he gave some of the stolen money to his sons, so that they could have a better life. If the stolen money was taken back from the sons, would that mean they were being punished for their father's crimes? (The answer is "no".)

Tourists also pay sales taxes. Does that make them the same as us Americans? No.

ALL CHILDREN have the right for education. So stop the whining, they have no fault of what their parents of even the stupid governments of BOTH countries do. The better educated they are, the better the country becomes, regardless of which one.

"I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed. Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.

But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.

Then came the crap. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table...everywhere.

Then some of the birds turned mean : they would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket.

And other birds were boisterous and loud : they sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore. I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone.

I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio. Soon, the back yard was like it used to be ... quiet, serene and no one demanding their rights to a free meal.

Now let's see ... our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care, free education and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen.

Then the illegals came by the millions. Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; your child's second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English.

Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box, I have to press "one" to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than "Old Glory" are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free stuff.

Maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder."

They intend to get rid of Medicare ... why not the fracked up education department. Both are so wasteful they can't be sustained by the legal taxpayers. Both are overwhelmed in the future by inflation. The US government has lost it therefore so have the big social welfare programs. If all they have left is war then that will consume the whole economy of the US.

I feel very sad when I see crooks using children. It's despicable what they do.

It doesn't matter if they are entitled or not. The country is going broke. There won't be any schools left if this keeps up. I know, because when I was interning I visited lots of different schools to get experience. I found that most of them were in financial distress and just barely getting by.

Also, the Head Start system is lucky if they can make it another few years, they have little money.

Head Start is needed very badly.

Many kids today grow up not knowing who they will spend the night with, what they will eat, and what they will see.

Older kids, like five or six are responsible for going to the fridge and getting their own food out and feeding themselves something and also feeding their siblings something.

Everyone else is too drunk or too high or having sex in another room or out clubbing or just not there!

Without Head Start, these kids grow up with no morals at all, and no one can teach them anything.

Without Head Start, many of them would go to Kindergarten not prepared to internact with the teacher or other students. They would be fighting and cussing, hurting other kids, throwing their chairs and basically being like a wild animal.

But they can't help it if they act this way if they have little socialization with others in a positive setting.

Some kids must fight and defend themselves at home, and the only response they know to do when anyone gets too close to them is to lash out and hit. They are used to people approaching them and knocking the crap out of them. They don't know what a hug is, some of them.

But I heard that Head Start is running out of money and may have to just dissolve away, leaving lots of kids with not one safe place to go for a while.

But that is just Head Start.

School itself is going to change.

Many states, in order to keep any kind of educational system, have annexed small town schools.

This means another school has to take in more kids. This puts a strain on teachers.

Students that are smart and actually want to learn something have to deal with the distraction of more kids in the classroom, some of which only go to school because they are made to go, and they do anything and everything they can to distract the teacher and cause trouble for everyone.

I don't know how much longer we have, but I think one day there just isn't going to be school, not as we know it.

There may be some trade schools where people can send their kids to learn to do something to make money.

Or there may be some private schools you pay to use.

But a free education, I don't think we will see that much longer.

Those who can't pay, the poor of course, will suffer the most.

Without an education, they will degrade and devolve, but you can't blame poor and uneducated people for acting like animals when they really don't know better.

Then don't, but there are people who are willing to educate them so they don't become their parents. Such a small box you are living in right now. -.-

I feel generous enough to give education freely to anyone who can make it to school BUT...

we are currently cutting funding for programs that take care of our elderly and poor. Our own fathers, mothers and children are hurting for medicine, food, and housing.

We take a billion dollars from the mouths of grandma and grandpa, stop funding their cancer treatments. Cut state sponsered medical insurance to our poorer kids because we don't have the money.

Now we send our kids off to school and they sit in class with criminals, or the sons and daughters of criminals (apple doesn't fall far from the tree). We let them leave our sight, trust.

If we can cut our elderly and poor off, we can cut illegal (read CRIMINAL) off too.

I suggest a form of Sharia Law that allows us to handle illegals on sight personally.

The point is we're broke as fuck. You want to believe all the rhetoric that Unions are parasites sucking us dry. We can't afford to subsidize grandmas heart medication or cancer treatments. We can't afford preventative medicine to poor families.

Let's make smart cuts and balance the budget in a more humane way for citizens. How can you justify making true citizens suffer more while giving entitlement to criminals?
